Roush Fenway Racing looks to go on a heater this weekend as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) returns to “Sin City,” Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the hopes that what happens there doesn’t just stay there, but propels the team throughout the rest of the season.

Dakoda will be making his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway to go along with one Camping World Truck Series start at the track. Armstrong has a best XFINITY Series finish of 23rd at the Las Vegas track which came in the 2014 event.

Jeb Burton and the No. 43 J. Streicher team head west with a Top-10 finish under their belts. Last weekend, the Richard Petty Motorsports XFINITY Series team showed strength in their intermediate track program, running in the Top-10 all race and finishing 10th.

Wallace will make his second career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

Ryan Reed has two starts at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) in the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS), finishing 15th in both 2014 and 2015. The last time the NXS visited LVMS, Reed fought an ill-handling car for most of the day, but avoided several on-track incidents to fight for a top-15 finish.

Under clear blue Georgia skies, Jimmie Johnson gambled on his fuel to put himself in position to win the race. On the final restart, he got the best restart and scored the victory in the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. In his first XFINITY race in over a year, Corey LaJoie drove his JGL Racing Young Guns No. 24 Toyota to a 23rd place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
