Alex Bowman, the 22-year-old racer from Tucson, Ariz., will drive nine NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) races for JR Motorsports in the No. 88 Chevrolet next season, the team announced today. Bowman becomes the fourth driver named to the lineup of JRM’s No. 88 “All-Star” car for 2016, joining Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick and Kasey Kahne.

LAST RACE OF THE ELIMINATOR: The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) now moves to Phoenix International Raceway for the final event of the ‘Eliminator 8’ round of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup championship playoff. After Phoenix, only four racers will remain to compete for the NSCS championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday, Nov. 22.

This Week's No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota at Phoenix International Raceway: J.J. Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 229 in the DAV 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. This chassis has been recently rebuilt with a new body and was last raced by Yeley at Charlotte last month.

Dakoda Armstrong and the No. 43 WinField team head to Phoenix International Raceway to make the final short track stop of the 2015 season. With the season winding down and a very tight points race between 11th and 14th, Armstrong is focused on using every opportunity to climb the Championship Standings.

Reed has competed at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) four times in the NASCAR XFIINTY Series. In March, Reed finished 13th after starting 17th. In 2014, he earned 22nd- and 19th-place finishes in the spring and fall races, respectively. One of Reed’s first NASCAR XFIINITY Series starts came at PIR in 2013, where he finished 15th.

As the NASCAR XFINITY Series travels to Phoenix International Raceway for the second time this season, Roush Fenway Racing’s Bubba Wallace prepares to make his second start in the series at the one-mile track. Earlier this season, Wallace started 16th and finished 15th.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher will make his fourth NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend. In his three previous starts at the one-mile track, Buescher’s best start is 12th, which came in the spring 2014 race. Buescher’s best finish is also 12th, which came in this race last season. In each of his three starts at Phoenix International Raceway, Buescher has finished inside the top-15.

Elliott Sadler will make his 14th NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) this Saturday afternoon in Avondale, Ariz. In Sadler’s previous 13 starts at PIR, he has one win in 2012, four top-five and six top-10 finishes. Earlier this year, Sadler started 10th and finished 12th.

With Kyle Busch running into transmission problems, it was up to the other two drivers on the team to get the job done for Joe Gibbs Racing. Erik Jones and Daniel Suarez would do just that, finishing fourth and sixth respectively.

Brad Keselowski won Saturday's O'Reilly Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway to allow Roger Penske to clinch his third consecutive owner's championship in the NASCAR XFINITY Series.
