Alex Bowman to Drive Nine Races for JR Motorsports in 2016

Alex Bowman, the 22-year-old racer from Tucson, Ariz., will drive nine NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) races for JR Motorsports in the No. 88 Chevrolet next season, the team announced today. Bowman becomes the fourth driver named to the lineup of JRM’s No. 88 “All-Star” car for 2016, joining Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kevin Harvick and Kasey Kahne.

Bubba Wallace – Phoenix Advance

As the NASCAR XFINITY Series travels to Phoenix International Raceway for the second time this season, Roush Fenway Racing’s Bubba Wallace prepares to make his second start in the series at the one-mile track. Earlier this season, Wallace started 16th and finished 15th.

Chris Buescher – Phoenix Advance

Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher will make his fourth NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend. In his three previous starts at the one-mile track, Buescher’s best start is 12th, which came in the spring 2014 race. Buescher’s best finish is also 12th, which came in this race last season. In each of his three starts at Phoenix International Raceway, Buescher has finished inside the top-15.

Elliott Sadler – Phoenix International Raceway Advance

Elliott Sadler will make his 14th NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) this Saturday afternoon in Avondale, Ariz. In Sadler’s previous 13 starts at PIR, he has one win in 2012, four top-five and six top-10 finishes. Earlier this year, Sadler started 10th and finished 12th.
