RHODES READY FOR HOMESTEAD

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Harrison Rhodes hopes to close the Xfinity Series season with a strong run in Saturday’s Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The final race of the 2015 season will mark Rhodes’ first event at the 1.5-mile track.

“I’m looking forward to getting on the track and seeing what we can do,” Rhodes said. “Homestead is one of those places where you can race almost anywhere from the bottom of the track to the top, so that will help me adjust quickly, I hope. We’re looking for a good run to finish out the year strong.”

Rhodes sits 24th in Xfinity driver points entering the 300-mile race.

Practice at Homestead is scheduled at 1:30 p.m. Friday. Qualifying is set for 11:15 a.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 2:45 p.m.
