MOST CAMRYS IN THE CHASE: Five Toyota Camry drivers are set to compete in the NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup Series playoff – the most championship entries for Toyota in a single season. Camry drivers Kyle Busch (seeded second to start the postseason), Matt Kenseth (third), Carl Edwards (eighth), Denny Hamlin (11th) and Clint Bowyer (16th) all qualified for the 16-driver championship field which will kick-off this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. Both Busch and Kenseth enter the Chase tied with Jimmie Johnson for the most wins this season with four.

Dakoda Armstrong Focused on Points Race at Chicago

An ill-timed caution during green-flag pit stops robbed the No. 43 WinField team of a great finish last week in Richmond. This week, Dakoda Armstrong heads to Chicagoland Speedway. During the spring race at Chicago, the team was on pace to have one of its strongest performances of the season before heavy contact from a competitor wrecked their otherwise good day.

Chris Buescher – Chicagoland Advance

Saturday evening’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Chicagoland Speedway marks Chris Buescher’s fourth start at the 1.5-mile track. In his three previous starts, Buescher’s best start is ninth, which came earlier this season. His best finish of eighth came in his first start at the track in 2014. Buescher has completed all 600 laps in his three starts and has never finished outside the top-12.

Roush Fenway Racing’s Bubba Wallace makes his second start at Chicagoland Speedway this weekend in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. In his previous start which came earlier this season, Wallace started and finished 10th.

Elliott Sadler – Chicagoland Speedway Advance

Elliott Sadler will make his 13th NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start at Chicagoland Speedway this Saturday night in Joliet, IL. In Sadler’s previous 12 NXS starts at Chicagoland, he’s recorded one victory in 2012, two top-five and six top-10 finishes. Earlier this year, Sadler started third and finished 11th.

Mingus to Make XFINITY Series Debut at Chicago

Twenty-year-old Mason Mingus will make his NASCAR XFINITY Series debut Saturday at Chicagoland Speedway, driving the No. 97 VroomBrands Chevrolet Camaro for Obaika Racing.

Ryan Reed – Chicagoland Advance

Reed has three starts in the NASCAR XFINITY Series at Chicagoland Speedway. In June 2015, Reed finished 12th after starting 14th. In 2014, Reed recorded 15th- and 24th- place finishes in the June and September events, respectively.
