Landon Cassill knows his way around Kentucky Speedway. Friday night’s Kentucky 300 Xfinity Series race at the 1.5-mile track will be Cassill’s ninth at Kentucky. He has run four Sprint Cup and four Xfinity races on the Sparta course.

This Week's No. 26 JGL Racing Toyota at Kentucky Speedway: Timmy Hill will pilot Chassis No. 214 in the Kentucky 300 at Kentucky Speedway. This chassis was last ran at Chicagoland Speedway where TJ Bell piloted it to a 23rd-place finish.

This Week's No. 28 JGL Racing Toyota at Kentucky Speedway: J.J. Yeley will pilot Chassis No. 222 in the Kentucky 300 at Kentucky Speedway. This will be the first time Yeley has raced this chassis this year. The car was last raced by Kyle Fowler with the No. 26 JGL Racing team at Charlotte.

New Kentucky-Specific Rules Package To Debut This Weekend; Four More Track-Specific Packages Scheduled

This week the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, XFINITY Series and the Camping World Truck Series travel to Kentucky Speedway for a tripleheader of racing action. The Sprint Cup and XFINITY Series practices, qualifying sessions and races will be televised on NBC Sports Live Extra.

For the third consecutive week, Brennan Poole returns to the seat of the No. 42 DC Solar Chevrolet Camaro. Through 10 starts, Poole has one top-10 and five top-15 finishes, with an average start of 16.8 and an average finish of 20.3. Poole’s most recent ARCA Racing Series victory was in Kentucky last October. He led 27 of 100 laps that night in his first-ever start at the 1.5-mile speedway.

KENTUCKY 10: Toyota drivers have visited victory lane at Kentucky Speedway 10 times in NASCAR competition. Two of four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races at the 1.5-mile track have been won by Camry drivers – Kyle Busch (2011) and Matt Kenseth (2013). Former Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) driver Joey Logano won three consecutive NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) events at the track (2008, 2009 and 2010). Tundra drivers have tallied five Kentucky victories by Busch (2010 and 2014), Johnny Benson (2008), Todd Bodine (2010) and Mike Skinner (2007).

American Diabetes Association® Youth Ambassador Rachel Hopkins will ride along with Roush Fenway Racing driver Ryan Reed during Friday night’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Kentucky Speedway. The Salem, Ind. native will have her name featured on a decal above the passenger-side door on the No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association Ford Mustang.

As Dale Earnhardt Jr. crossed the finish line to claim his second win of the season at Daytona International Speedway, celebrating the victory was the last thing on his mind. He had just driven the last two laps of the race focused on the traffic behind him, moving around the track as needed to protect his position when he saw the wreck unfolding in his rearview mirror.

Fresh off his best finish in the XFINITY Series, Dakoda Armstrong heads to Kentucky Speedway with a full head of steam. Sitting just 25 points out of 11th place in the points standings, the No. 43 WinField team has their eyes set on another Top-10 finish. Armstrong has a collection of solid performances at the track and looks forward to "slipping and sliding" around the weathered asphalt. Currently, Armstrong sits 12th in the XFINITY Series Championship Point Standings.
