As a result of holding a 52 point lead heading into next weekend's final race of the season at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Chase Elliott clinched the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series Championship.

Brad Keselowski would take the lead on the white flag lap, before leading the rest of the way en route to scoring the victory in the DAV 200 Honoring American's Veterans at Phoenix International Raceway. It marks Keselowski's 32nd career victory and his fifth win of the 2014 season.

Kyle Busch (second) was the highest finishing Camry in Saturday afternoon's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Phoenix International Raceway. Busch started from the pole and led the field three times for a race-high 187 laps (of 206), but a late-race caution forcing a green-white-checkered restart allowed Brad Keselowski to pass him for the victory.

Chase Elliott, driver of the No. 9 NAPA Chevrolet Camaro, claimed the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) championship with a fifth-place finish in the DAV 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. His title, the first for Elliott and first for team owner Dale Earnhardt, Jr., marks Chevrolet’s 18th Driver’s Championship since the inception of the series in 1982.

Chase Elliott, the driver of the No. 9 NAPA AUTO PARTS Chevrolet, clinched the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series championship after scoring a fifth-place finish today at Phoenix International Raceway. The rookie driver from Dawsonville, Ga., will carry an insurmountable 52-point lead into next week’s season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This marks the first national touring series championship for JR Motorsports, the company owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Richard Childress Racing (RCR) today announced that WESCO International, Inc. has renewed its sponsorship of Ty Dillon and the No. 3 Chevrolet team for the 2015 XFINITY Series season. WESCO is a leading provider of electrical, industrial, and communications MRO and OEM products, construction materials, and advanced supply chain procurement services.

This week NASCAR travels to Phoenix International Raceway. The Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix is the last chance to advance to the Championship Round next week at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Only four drivers will make it through to compete for the Sprint Cup Championship title.

Phoenix International Raceway is one of Blake Koch's favorite stops on the NNS schedule. Koch will be behind the wheel of the No. 44 Ingersoll Rand Camry this weekend in his eighth start at the one-mile oval. With an average starting position of 27.9 and an average finishing position of 29.1, Koch is looking to get his first top-10 of the 2014 season. Koch's best finish came back in 2011 when he finished 14th.

A new sponsor will dawn the hood of Mike Bliss' No. 19 Camry this weekend. In his 19th career NNS start at Phoenix International Raceway, Bliss will seek success in the No. 19 Number 5 Specialty Coatings Camry this weekend. With an average starting position of 18.8 and an average finishing position of 18.1, Bliss has turned over 3,300 laps at the one-mile raceway.

After posting a 26th-place finish at TMS, McClure is looking to rebound and have a solid outing at Phoenix Int'l Raceway. With 14 starts under his belt at the one-mile track, McClure has completed 93.6% of the total laps attempted and has a track-best finish of 19th (2011). Earlier this season, McClure posted a 23rd-place finish after rain showers forced the event to conclude earlier than the advertised distance.
