In 142 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Richard Childress Racing teams have earned seven points-paying victories (four wins with Dale Earnhardt, one with Jeff Burton and two with Kevin Harvick) and four All-Star race victories (three with Earnhardt and one with Harvick), giving RCR 11 total Sprint Cup Series checkered flags at the Concord, N.C.-based track.

TriStar Motorsports Post-Race Report Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway

Mike Bliss and the No. 19 TriStar Motorsports Camry team qualified 21st for the Kansas Lottery 300. After a disappointing finish last weekend in Dover, Bliss was ready to take on the 1.5-mile tri-oval speedway in Kansas. When an early caution came out, Bliss was battling teammate, David Starr for the 21st position. Bliss reported that his Camry was tight off and snappy loose and reported that he still hadn't gotten a feel for the car while running 21st.

RCR Nationwide Series Kansas Speedway Post Race Report

Ty Dillon qualified on the pole for the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway, his third of the season and was the highest qualifying Richard Childress Racing entry. Teammates Brian Scott, Paul Menard and Brendan Gaughan qualified fifth, eighth and 10th respectively.

Kyle Busch Captures Lady In Blue at Kansas Lottery 300

Kyle Busch took the Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway after starting sixth and leading only 34 laps. The turning point came in the closing laps when Busch took command, passing Harvick with 20 laps to go. It was his sixth Nationwide series victory of the year. Kevin Harvick and Ryan Blaney crossed the line in the follow up spots.

Blaney Paces Ford Kansas Effort in Third Place

“I was just a little bit too free there that last bit. We should have just tightened up a little more. The track was cooling off and getting a little bit looser. We just didn’t adjust enough. That is partially my fault. I didn’t want to adjust as much as Jeremy wanted to. That is unfortunate but we had a great Discount Tire Ford Mustang today. All in all not a bad day.”

After a disappointing finish last weekend at the "Monster Mile", Bliss and the No. 19 Camry team are looking for redemption this weekend in Kansas. With an average starting position of 20.3 and an average finishing position of 20.8, Bliss has seen previous success at the 1.5-mile tri-oval speedway. In the past two NNS seasons Bliss has consecutively brought home 13th place finishes at Kansas.
