Georgia On My Mind...The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) will make its first and only trip of the 2013 season to Hampton, Ga. and Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS) Saturday night for the Great Clips/Grit Chips 300. Nelson Piquet Jr. will make his first NNS start at AMS this weekend, but is no stranger to the 1.54-mile oval. Piquet Jr. has two starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at AMS with one top-10 finish.

Elliott Sadler and the No. 11 OneMain Financial team head to the "Peach State" to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Sadler has seven Nationwide Series starts at the 1.45-mile track, with one top-five and four top-10 finishes, with a best finish of fourth in 2012. The driver also has 24 starts in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series with three top-10 finishes and 18 laps led.

Tied for 22nd in Owners’ Standings…After posting a 16th-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway, the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds® team jumped three positions to 22nd in the NASCAR Owner Standings. They are currently tied with the No. 87 team.

Chris Buescher will make his first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Atlanta Motor Speedway this weekend behind the wheel of the No. 16 Ford Mustang.

Travis Pastrana has one previous start at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Last season he started 16th and ran strong, leading his first laps in NASCAR competition, but finished 26th after contact with the wall, with 26 laps remaining.

Kyle Busch is one step closer to sweeping the weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. After having to come from behind and almost a lap down on Wednesday night in the Camping World Truck Series race, Busch dominated the Food City 250 on Friday night leading 228 lap of the 250 lap race.

Just a few weeks ago it seemed as if JR Motorsports driver, Regan Smith, had a stranglehold on the championship points standings in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. After a string of 11 top-10 finishes which included two wins, Smith had a very impressive 58 point lead.

RAB Racing with Brack Maggard, and driver Kenny Wallace are proud to announce today a partnership with American Ethanol for Wallace's 897th NASCAR start at the Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday, August 23rd. This will mark the first NASCAR Nationwide Series race in 2013 that American Ethanol will be the primary sponsor on the No. 29 of Kenny Wallace.
