Two weeks ago, Joey Logano completed the season-sweep of NASCAR Nationwide Series races at Dover International Speedway, winning his seventh NNS race of the season and his 16th career NNS race taking the checkers in the OneMain Financial 200. In the process, Logano set another new record for his impressive Nationwide Series career – the highest number of laps led in a single race.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) will make its second of two trips to NASCAR’s backyard track of Charlotte Motor Speedway (CMS). After a couple weeks off from the NNS, James Buescher will return behind the wheel of a pink No. 30 Great Clips / AccuDoc Solutions Chevrolet Impala for Friday evening’s race under the lights. Buescher has two previous starts at the 1.5-mile Charlotte Motor Speedway, where this past May, Buescher posted a solid seventh-place finish. Buescher’s career average starting position is 18.0 with his average finish bettering that at 17.3.

Kyle Busch returned to Dover (Del.) International Speedway Saturday making his 17th start as the owner-driver of his first-year No. 54 NASCAR Nationwide Series team. From a seventh-place starting spot, the Monster Energy crew and driver battled a rain worn race surface, cool track conditions and the car's loose handling, to register a fifth-place finish. The result was the team's 11th top-five grab of the season and Busch's seventh top-five finish of his career in the Nationwide Series at Dover.

NASCAR Nationwide Series points leader Elliott Sadler and his brother, motorsports analyst Hermie Sadler, joined breast cancer survivors from as far away as Ohio, to paint the start/finish line at Charlotte Motor Speedway pink in preparation for next week’s Dollar General 300 Nationwide Series race.

Driving the beautiful looking Support Military Foundation No. 81 at the “Monster Mile” Saturday, Jason Bowles brought home a solid 20th place result. Bowles had a very quick race car during the late stages of the race and earned his 15th top-20 finish of the 2012 season.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished second (Paul Menard), fourth (Elliott Sadler) and 10th (Austin Dillon). Sadler leads the NASCAR Nationwide Series driver championship point standings by nine points over Ricky Stenhouse Jr., while Dillon ranks third in the standings, 25 markers behind his RCR teammate.
