Since things changed dramatically in the Penske Racing camp back in early July at Daytona, no one would have thought differently if Sam Hornish Jr.'s performance started to slip. The Nationwide Series driver quickly found himself going from worrying solely on his championship hopes to doing double duty for the past month. Sometimes flying from state to state, bouncing between cars and teams.

Mike Wallace and the No. 01 Chevrolet team of JD Motorsports w/ Gary Keller twisted and turned their way to a top-20 finish in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Watkins Glen International. His teammate for the weekend, Daryl Harr driving the No. 4 iWorld.com/Tradebank Chevrolet, gained eight spots from where he started to finish 30th.

Miguel Paludo got behind the wheel of a NASCAR Nationwide Series car for only the second time in his career, tackling the road course circuit of Watkins Glen International. After fighting a free racecar and having to make an unscheduled pit stop for debris on the grille, Paludo brought the No. 30 Duroline Chevrolet home in the 13th position.

In his only NASCAR Nationwide Series road race of the year, Joey Logano qualified his No. 18 GameStop/BuyMyTronics.com Toyota in the sixth position for Saturday afternoon’s race.

Annett finished the 200.9-mile race in 11th place, marking his 18th top-15 finish and 13th finish of 11th or better this season

I can’t say thank you enough to the fans that come out and support this sport. We rode around in the infield yesterday around all the campgrounds and everybody was so nice. It seems like everybody is having a really good time out here, so I appreciate that. Subway came on board to do this race.

Camry driver Kyle Busch (sixth) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Watkins Glen International.
