John Blankenship will make his NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) debut with Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) this weekend. The West Virginia native will pilot the No. 44 COAL/Save Our Country Chevrolet in Saturday’s U.S. Cellular 250 presented by the Enlist Weed Control System.

Knoxville’s Trevor Bayne, a crowd favorite at Bristol Motor Speedway, is back on track in the Nationwide Series for the Food City 250 Aug. 24.

Danica Patrick, driver of the GoDaddy.com Chevrolet in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series, will appear for a question-and-answer session in the Monster Mile Club at 11 a.m. before the Sept. 30 “AAA 400” NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

Taking on the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway for 500 laps in August isn’t for the faint of heart. Plenty of drivers will tell you the steeply banked oval is one of, if not the, most demanding tracks on the NASCAR schedule.

Carl Edwards will return to the NASCAR Nationwide Series next weekend at Watkins Glen International to race the No. 60 Subway Ford Mustang. It will be Edwards’ first appearance in the series this season after running full time the past seven years.
