This weekend at Iowa Speedway, Roush Fenway Racing’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr. looks to join an elite group of only six NASCAR drivers to ever win four consecutive races at a single track.

Taking on the iconic Bristol Motor Speedway for 500 laps in August isn’t for the faint of heart. Plenty of drivers will tell you the steeply banked oval is one of, if not the, most demanding tracks on the NASCAR schedule.

The march to the 2012 Nationwide Series championship begins its stretch drive this weekend at Iowa Speedway and somewhere Ricky Stenhouse Jr. is smiling. If there ever was a driver who has a track on lock down it would be Stenhouse at Iowa.

Carl Edwards will return to the NASCAR Nationwide Series next weekend at Watkins Glen International to race the No. 60 Subway Ford Mustang. It will be Edwards’ first appearance in the series this season after running full time the past seven years.

This weekend Roush Fenway will look for its fifth ever Sprint Cup victory at Pocono Raceway in the Sprint Cup Series, while Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will look to make it four-in-a-row at Iowa Speedway.

Pocono Raceway is a track on the up rise. After the re-pavement of the track last off-season, the track developed a whole new meaning. The track is now faster and smoother which gives fans better racing action.
