Mother Nature was the top villain at this weekend's NASCAR Canadian Tire Series ICAR Grand Prix, where Ron Beauchamp Jr. and his #60 Mopar Parts/Mobil 1/Exide Batteries Dodge crew had to adjust to inconsistent weather conditions to snag a top ten finish at Circuit ICAR.

Service Central Chip Ganassi Racing (SCCGR) driver Graham Rahal finished 19th at the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, on the Streets of Belle Isle. The result comes in at his 83rd IZOD IndyCar Series career start and his second event on the Streets of Belle Isle.

Target Chip Ganassi Racing (TCGR) earned its first back-to-back one-two finishes in team history at the Raceway at Belle Isle, with Scott Dixon leading the shortened 60-lap event over teammate Dario Franchitti at the 2.096-mile street course. Last week, Franchitti led Dixon across the finish line in the Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Indianapolis-based Younessi Racing’s showed a great deal ofwinning potential as they debuted a two car effort at this weekend’s ChevroletDetroit Belle Isle Grand Prix.

KV Racing Technology driver Tony Kanaan finished sixth yesterday in the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix in Detroit, Michigan. Teammates E. J. Viso and Rubens Barrichello placed 18th and 25th respectively.

Andretti Autosport driver Zach Veach hosted 17-year old Young Marine Sergeant Major (YM/SgtMaj) McCall Behringer, National Young Marine of the Year recipient, at Lucas Oil Raceway (LOR) last month in honor of her accomplishments.

Robin Buck started off the 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series season solidly with a top 10 finish at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park last month. He was hoping that when they got to Circuit ICAR, he would continue the early season success as he had won the race last year.

For the third consecutive year, Tony Kanaan is going to run the Prelude to the Dream at Eldora's half-mile clay oval on June 6th. Kanaan is fitting the race amongst his busy schedule that includes back-to-back IndyCar race weekends, testing, sponsor appearances and meetings.

Tonight the World of Outlaw Sprints were back in Kokomo, Indiana for the third round of the Kasey Kahne Challenge. The Outlaws are returning to Kokomo for the first time since 2007.

While Brennan Poole took the victory, Chris Buescher was happy to come home third after escaping major damage in a final-lap dustup involving Tom Hessert and Larry Barford Jr.
