Team BCR Racing Signs Developmental Driver Will Carroll

Beginning in the 2015 season, Will Carroll will make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards debut with Team BCR Racing and Development Team. Carroll plans to compete in a limited schedule in 2015, with the goal to run for a Championship and Rookie of the Year honors in 2016.

Tracy Hines Heads into Turkey Night Grand Prix in Title Contention

Three drivers will battle for the 2014 Honda USAC National Midget Series title this week in the Turkey Night Grand Prix at Perris Auto Speedway in California, and Tracy Hines will be one of them. The veteran driver is looking to add a midget title to his already impressive resume that includes an Amsoil USAC National Sprint Car Series title and Traxxas USAC Silver Crown Series championship, which would put him in very select company, as only five drivers have ever claimed the USAC “Triple Crown,” by winning each of the three series titles.

For Taylor Ferns, the 2014 season was all about learning the intricacies of 410-winged sprint car racing and getting seat time, as she returned to the 900-horsepower machines for the first time in nearly four seasons. When it was all said and done, she had earned her first winged sprint car win, along with recording several other strong runs.

Tracy Hines Wins Opener of Western World Championships

Tracy Hines continued to add to his win total at Canyon Speedway Park in Arizona, taking the opener of the Honda USAC National Midget Series portion of the 47th Sands Chevrolet Western World Championships on Thursday, November 20. The win was his second in as many weeks at the track, and the fifth of his career, but his first in a midget, as the previous four had come in sprint car competition.

Western World Championships Await Tracy Hines this Week at Canyon Speedway Park

The list of drivers who have won the Western World Championships is a venerable “Who’s Who” of open wheel racing. Tracy Hines added his name to the prestigious list in 2011, when the event was held at then-USA Raceway in Tucson, Arizona, and split between sprint car and midget events. He returns to the history-laden event this week as it now calls Canyon Speedway Park in Arizona home for the third consecutive year, hosting the Honda USAC National Midget Series.

Hines led all 30 laps en route to the 47th win of his career with the Amsoil USAC National Sprint Car Series.
