Honda Indy Toronto officials announced on Thursday, May 11 that Oakville, Ontario's James Hinchcliffe will be the Grand Marshal for the 2015 Honda Indy Toronto. Charlie Johnstone, President of the Honda Indy Toronto, said the decision was the easiest that he had to make recently.

For the 31st time in Verizon IndyCar Series history, the series will take to the streets of the Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario. Known as the iconic spot for hosting the Canadian National Exhibition, the center of attention transfers into a challenging 11-turn, 1.755-mile temporary street course. After a pair of exciting races last year, the series will hope to top the shows this year with even bigger success.

On Wednesday, June 10, the trophies that will be given to the top-three finishers in the Honda Indy Toronto were unveiled.

The Honda Indy Toronto will mark the 16th year of Indy car racing for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) here and fourth since 2003. The team also competed in the Atlantic Series races here in 2003 and 2004. The team earned a total of four second place finishes (Rahal 1992, 1994, 1995; Michel Jourdain Jr. 2003) and best start was pole in 1992 by Bobby Rahal.

There have been seven different winners in nine Verizon IndyCar Series races in 2015: Juan Pablo Montoya (Streets of St. Petersburg and Indianapolis 500), James Hinchcliffe (NOLA Motorsports Park), Scott Dixon (Streets of Long Beach and Texas Motor Speedway), Josef Newgarden (Barber Motorsports Park), Will Power (Grand Prix of Indianapolis), Carlos Munoz (Raceway at Belle Isle-1) and Sebastien Bourdais (Raceway at Belle Isle-2).

The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 will make history with the drop of the green flag in Saturday’s Budweiser 300 at Autodrome Chaudiere, and defending race winner Jason Hathaway will share in the milestone event.

Chip Ganassi Racing announced on Tuesday, June 9 that Scott Dixon's No. 9 Chevrolet will feature Jurassic World this weekend for the Honda Indy Toronto.
