When Juan Pablo Montoya said he wanted to be racing behind the wheel of a championship car, he didn't limit himself to which series he'd be in. Those words are playing true as reports released this week show Montoya driving for Michael Andretti next season.

NASCAR announced today that NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 driver Dave Connelly has been penalized following his involvement in a Sept. 8 incident at Barrie (Ontario) Speedway.

For the second consecutive race Frank Kimmel showed the mettle of a nine-time ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards champion, as he battled to a 10th-place finish in Saturday night's Prairie Meadows 150 at Iowa Speedway.

While DJ Kennington and Scott Steckly are locked in a battle for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 championshp, Jason Hathaway played spoiler Sunday by coming away with the win in the Hudco Electric Supply 300 presented by G-Oil.

Jason Hathaway would battle his way back to the front late in the race at Barrie Speedway to pass D.J. Kennington on lap 284 to win the Hudco Electric Supply 300. Hathaway had to survive a green-white-checkered finish to pick up his second victory of the season ahead of Kennington and J.R. Fitzpatrick.

A persistant on and off light mist from mid-afternoon till the night time forced the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series to postpone tonight's Hudco Electric Supply 200 at Barrie Speedway to Sunday afternoon.
