Bristol Motor Speedway will host fans for the second time this season and for a pair of NASCAR national division series races in September.

While Daytona International Speedway is gearing up for next weekend’s (Aug. 28-29) anticipated Coke Zero Sugar 400 and Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola, Thursday was about taking a step back in time to the road course.

The NASCAR national division series quadruple-header races at Richmond Raceway in September will proceed with no fans in attendance.

Capturing another Daytona International Speedway winner’s trophy in next weekend’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 (Aug. 29) will have extra meaning to five former winners of the iconic 2.5-mile venue.

Matt Stell, a chart-topping country music star, will sing a virtual version of the national anthem prior to the “Drydene 311” NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, Aug. 23, the final event of Dover International Speedway’s huge six-race, three-day NASCAR weekend on Aug. 21-23.

Tickets for the 63rd Annual DAYTONA 500, the biggest and most prestigious event on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule, are on sale now. The 2021 edition of “The Great American Race,” which could see the event’s first three-time consecutive winner, will again be held on Presidents’ Day Weekend on Sunday, Feb. 14. Tickets start at $99.

Sunday’s Go Bowling 235 marked the NASCAR Cup Series’ historic return to road course racing in Daytona Beach and it’s first-ever running at the DAYTONA Road Course.

History was yet again the topic of conversation Sunday early afternoon at Daytona International Raceway as the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series made its debut on the iconic DAYTONA Road Course. When the checkered flag waved, Sheldon Creed placed his name in the record book, holding off teammate GMS Racing Brett Moffitt in a two-lap dash for glory in overtime.

History was made at Daytona International Speedway Saturday, as the first of three NASCAR national series made its debut on the iconic DAYTONA Road Course with the running of the NASCAR Xfinity Series UNOH 188.

Prior to this Sunday’s historic Go Bowling 235 At The DAYTONA Road Course, the last time any form of NASCAR stock cars challenged the twists and turns of the iconic layout were from 1974-76 with the NASCAR Modified Division.
