Charlotte Motor Speedway is set to host its two biggest races of the year… and they’re going to do it with “Flair!” Eight-time WWEWomen’s Champion Charlotte Flair – a native of Charlotte, North Carolina – will assume honorary pace car driver duties for the Coca-Cola 600 on May 26.

Warner Music Nashville recording artist Michael Ray, who was born in nearby Eustis, is coming home to Daytona International Speedway for the Independence Day holiday weekend to entertain NASCAR fans with a pre-race concert on Saturday, July 6 prior to the 61st annual Coke Zero Sugar 400, a Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event.

Four times in his Hall of Fame career, Bobby Allison took the checkered flag at Talladega Superspeedway and made his way to Gatorade Victory Lane, the last being the spring race of 1986. Actor Josh McDermitt, best known for his role as a series regular on AMC’s record-breaking hit series The Walking Dead, will serve as an Honorary Official for the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway today, April 28.

Todd Gilliland (No. 4 Frontline Enterprises Toyota) earned his second career ARCA Menards Series victory in Friday’s General Tire 200 at Talladega Superspeedway. Gilliland, who is a full-time driver in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series for Kyle Busch Motorsports, took the lead after the first caution period of the race on lap 43 and led to the checkered.

Talladega Superspeedway is ready to crank up the excitement for this weekend’s motorsports tripleheader, announcing the lineup for pre-race dignitaries for the GEICO 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event, the MoneyLion 300 for the NASCAR Xfinity Series and the ARCA Menards Series’ General Tire 200.

Norman Reedus, star of the hit AMC television series The Walking Dead as well as the unscripted program,Ride with Norman Reedus, will lead the field to green as the Honorary Pace Car Driver for the GEICO 500 at Talladega Superspeedway this Sunday, April 28.
