Road course ace Victor Gonzalez, Jr. will join Niece Motorsports behind the wheel of the No. 45 truck for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) event at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in September.

Johnny Sauter, driver of the No. 21 Allegiant Chevrolet, spent both of Thursday’s practice sessions at Charlotte Motor Speedway searching for balance. The team continued to make adjustments following final practice and improved on the handling enough for Sauter to earn a third-place starting position.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series headed back home this past Friday night at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It was the fifth race of the 2017 season.

Kyle Busch left no doubt as to who was the most dominant driver in Friday’s N.C. Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Busch led a race-high 90 of 134 laps, pulled away from runner-up Johnny Sauter on a late restart and collected his record seventh Truck Series victory at Charlotte.

In his 100th Toyota Tundra start, Kyle Busch captured his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) victory of the season in Friday night’s NC Education Lottery 200.

Busch led 90 of 134 laps in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway and completed a dominating victory in the event, sweeping both early stages of the race and taking the checkered flag .986 seconds ahead of runner-up Johnny Sauter.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season is in full swing as MDM Motorsports prepares for their fifth race of the season on Friday, May 19. NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) driver Brandon Jones will pilot the No. 99 Roland Chevrolet Silverado in the N.C. Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway located in Concord, N.C.

News and notes: Spencer last raced at Charlotte Motor Speedway in his Legends Cars days. Having just come off his top 20 run at Kansas Speedway he feels comfortable with the truck going in to the next 1.5 mile track this Friday. Spencer noted, “While the track length is the same, the racing surface is much different.
