NASCAR Truck Series

Since entering the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in 2013, the Charlotte, N.C.-based organization has logged 13 starts, earning one top-five finish, two top-10 finishes, with an average starting position of 18.7 and an average finishing position of 20.4.

"I'm looking forward to getting back to the track and improving on our program this season. My guys have been working really hard and we feel like we're a better team than we've shown, we've just had some bad luck, but that's all going to change this weekend.

"Kentucky is my favorite mile-and-a-half track that we go to. It's a flat, rough track with a lot of character and it requires you to move around so you can find a place where your truck likes to run. It's a track that demands a lot out of the drivers and crews to really get the truck adjusted, because it's rough and hard to get ahold of, so finding the right setup to make your truck handle is really a chore.

For the first time this season, Johnny Sauter and the No. 98 Nextant Aerospace/Curb Records ThorSport Racing team head into Thursday night's UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) point leaders.

In 20 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Kentucky Speedway, Red Horse Racing has earned five top-five and 10 top-10 finishes, with Parker Kligerman coming home in the runner-up position in September 2012.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to Kentucky Speedway for the eighth stop of the 2014 season. Ben Kennedy will make his first-career start at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval in the UNOH 225. However, Thursday will not be the first time that Kennedy will make laps at the Sparta, Kentucky facility.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads to Sparta, Ky. this week for the UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Four-time NCWTS champion Ron Hornaday is set to make his 12th-career start at the 1.5-mile oval and is looking to bring home his fourth-career win at Kentucky. Hornaday has compiled three wins, three top fives, six top 10s, and led 141 laps in his previous 11 starts at Kentucky Speedway.

"I am extremely thankful for this opportunity," said LaJoie. "The trucks are a great series and my goal is to go to Kentucky and be competitive. We will see where is goes from there."

Five years ago, NASCAR and the Armed Forces Foundation partnered to find a way to give back to service members who fight for and protect the freedoms all Americans enjoy. Together, they created NASCAR Troops to the Track, a year-round recreational group therapy program that honors service men and women, veterans and military families at races throughout the country.

The Drivin’ For Linemen 200 at Gateway Motorsports Park in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series showcased experience levels from veterans to up-an-coming talents, though, at the conclusion it wasn’t a seasoned driver or rookie going to victory lane, it was ‘middle-aged’ Darrell Wallace Jr. capturing his second-career triumph.
