As the start of the 2014 race season approaches, NASCAR announced today the lineup of 2014 Contingency Program partners for all three national series, tallying a total of 24 companies participating in the program.

Chevrolet unveiled today the trio of vehicles that will pace NASCAR’s opening round of events at Daytona International Speedway this weekend.

MB Motorsports, one of the original NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ teams, is set to return to Daytona International Speedway with Justin Jennings behind the wheel of the #63 Mittler Brothers Machine and Tool Chevy Silverado. Jennings will be looking to make his first series start at Daytona.

In 17 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Daytona International Speedway, Red Horse Racing boasts two wins (Timothy Peters in 2010 and John King in 2012), five top-five and seven top-10 finishes. The Mooresville, N.C.-based organization has an average starting position of 19.2 and 13th-place average finishing position. RHR teams have completed 1,628 of 1,735 (93.8 percent) laps of competition and 24 led.

For the first time in the 2014 season, the Camping World Truck Series hit the highbanks of the Daytona International Speedway for practice. At the end of the first session, it was a rookie topping the charts.

Jimmy Weller will make his first career start at Daytona International Speedway driving the No. 08 Engine Parts Plus / Genmak Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on Friday, February 21.

Matt Crafton has a high level of consistency at the highest levels of NASCAR national series racing mastered, and his 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers' championship is proof of that.

If support equaled race wins, it wouldn't be necessary for Jeb Burton to even take the green flag Friday night in his No. 13 VAMP / VaporBrands International, Inc. Toyota Tundra in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season-opening NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway.

At an event today at the SPRINT Fan Zone at Daytona International Speedway, NASCAR officially unveiled newly designed bodies for NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race trucks – set to debut on Friday night in the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona (7:30 p.m. on FOX Sports 1, Motor Racing Network Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
