While Win-Tron Racing and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Sunoco rookie of the year candidate Mason Mingus (@Mason_Mingus) have shown speed in the first two races of the season, they turn to Friday night’s SFP 250 at Kansas Speedway in hopes of a good finish.

Although Spencer Gallagher is a newcomer in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, the 24-year-old has competed in four previous stock car events at Kansas Speedway. Three of those starts came in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, where Gallagher posted a seventh-place finish in the fall of 2013.

KANSAS SUCCESS: Joey Coulter returns to Kansas Speedway for the fourth time in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career. In his three previous starts, Coulter has two top-five finishes and completed 99.8% of laps contended. Coulter’s career-best finish at the 1.5-mile track came one year ago in the spring of 2013, when the driver finished second.

ack in the truck series... After finishing ninth in the season opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, Jimmy Weller will climb back in a truck for the SFP 250 at Kansas Speedway on Friday, May 9.

Red Horse Racing at Kansas Speedway... In 16 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Kansas Speedway, Red Horse Racing has three top-five and six top-10 finishes. The Mooresville, N.C.-based organization has an average starting position of 14.1 and an average finishing position of 13.7. RHR teams have completed 2,353 of 2,605 (90.3 percent) laps of competition.

There's No Place Like Kansas...The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to action after a six-week hiatus for the SFP 250 at Kansas Speedway on Friday, May 9. Ben Kennedy will make his first start at the 1.5-mile D-shaped oval, which will be only his third start on an intermediate circuit. Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) is no stranger to speed at Kansas Speedway.

Heading to Kansas City...Four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion Ron Hornaday Jr. will make his fourth-career start for Turner Scott Motorsports (TSM) in Friday night's shootout at Kansas Speedway. The 55-year-old veteran is no stranger to success at the Kansas City track, having nine starts with one win, three poles, three top fives and six top 10s to his credit.

NASCAR announced today it has reached a seven-year agreement with Camping World to remain the entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series through 2022. The new deal ensures that Camping World will own exclusive rights as title sponsor for a total of 14-consecutive years, equaling the longest entitlement sponsorship in the history of the national series, which is celebrating its 20th season.
