While Brendan Gaughan, driver of the No. 62 South Point Chevrolet, is pretty much an open book thanks to his regular appearances on the Sirius NASCAR radio channel, one thing that fans may not know about the charismatic driver is that he is an admitted Star Trek nerd.

After a weekend of racing at the Brickyard for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series and a Wednesday night of dirt racing at Eldora for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, all three series head off to new destinations this week with the Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series heading to Pocono and the Nationwide Series heading back to Iowa Speedway for the second time this season.

Todd Peck, behind the wheel of his No. 40 Arthritis Foundation Chevy, will be making his first ever run at Pocono Raceway, as well as his first start at a track larger than a mile and a half. And he has just one word to describe how he feels about it all: “incredible”.

An 11th hour agreement between SS Green Light Racing and former United States Auto Club (USAC) driver Ricky Ehrgott will allow the two to compete in Saturday’s Pocono Mountains 125 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) event at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway.

FOX Sports and NASCAR solidified their future together last October when they announced a multi-platform, multi-series media rights agreement through 2022. Today, less than 10 months later, the two organizations announced they have extended that agreement, which begins in 2015 and runs through 2024.

Todd Peck will make his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start of the 2013 season this weekend at Pocono Raceway. He will pilot the No. 07 Arthritis Foundation Chevy in the Pocono Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway. The 2.5-mile track will be the largest that the team has competed on to date.

Following their dirt debut, Jeb Burton and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) return to familiar grounds as they take on the Tricky Triangle at Pocono Raceway. In Saturday's Pocono Mountains 125, Burton and the No. 4 Arrowhead team will race for redemption after two previous top-20 finishes. Burton still holds second place in the NCWTS Driver Point Standings.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) hits the halfway mark as the series rolls into Pocono Raceway for the 11th race of 2013. Miguel Paludo has two previous starts at the Tricky Triangle, with his best run coming in 2012 when he qualified third and finished 13th.

Though Dakoda Armstrong will be making only his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start at the 2.5-mile “Tricky Triangle” hidden in the Pocono Mountains, he is no stranger to the unique tri-oval. Making three starts in the ARCA Racing Series at Pocono Raceway, Armstrong gained a wealth of knowledge he can carry over to this weekend’s Pocono Mountains 125.
