It's been 13 years since the Camping World Truck Series has left and right on a race track and the defending series champion says that a race on a road course is long overdue.

Mike Skeen would continue his quick ways, leading the second practice with a lap of 81.449 seconds. The lap is 1.346 seconds quicker than his quick time from the session before lunch. This weekend marks the CWTS debut for the World Challenge Series driver.

World Challenge Series regular Mike Skeen will be making his Camping World Truck Series debut this weekend in the Chevrolet Silverado 250 at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park. Skeen is off to a good start as he led the first practice with a lap of 82.795 seconds.

Back in the 1990s, road course racing was on the Camping World Truck Series schedule. Then it disappeared. Now it's back with a trip to Canada this weekend for a race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.

This weekend, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series history will be made as the trucks will head north of the border to race at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada.

After three nights of battling in the bullring that is Bristol Motor Speedway last weekend, the Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series head to Atlanta Motor Speedway for Labor Day weekend and more racing under the lights on the fast 1.5 mile speedway. With a track surface that is old and worn, having not been repaved since its reconfiguration in 1997, the track has gotten rave reviews from drivers who enjoy slipping and sliding around on the worn out asphalt.

With this being the first race for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWT) at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park (CTMP), some drivers are trying to get the upper-hand and get some extra laps on the track versus their competition. NASCAR has arranged four practice sessions in total before the race for the truck regulars, but there's a four-some that are looking for more.

The smoke cleared after the weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway, and there were surprises upon surprises. After an exciting NASCAR Camping World truck race in which Kyle Busch just edged out Timothy Peters on the last lap, it was followed up with Busch dominating the Nationwide Series race. What happened on Sunday was different, if not pleasing.

Twists and Turns...Making its return to road-course racing after 13 years, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) will cross the Canadian border this week for some winding roads and tricky turns. On Sunday afternoon, Jeb Burton and the No. 4 Arrowhead team will take on the 2.459-mile course at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park for the three-day event surrounding the inaugural Chevrolet Silverado 250 on Labor Day weekend.

Giv'n Her In Canada...The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) goes north of the border to Canada for the series' first international trip in its 18 years of competition. Making its inaugural trip to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, the Truck Series will return to a road course for the first time since 2000. The 10-turn course features long straightaways, high-speed corners, esses and elevation changes, all of which will combine to create one of the most interesting races of the 2013 season.
