Sunday's race at the Rockingham Speedway turned out to be better for Max Gresham than he expected, even when it was as difficult as he feared and as challenging as he anticipated.

For a 20 year old, it seems a shock to hear those words spoken after his first Camping World Truck Series in just his fifth series start. However, this isn’t any 20-year-old. This is Kyle Larson.

Todd Bodine had one of his more frustrating weekends at Rockingham Speedway and it came to a head Sunday, when the two-time Rockingham Nationwide winner spun on a restart, hit the inside wall on the backstretch and had to retire from the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' Carolina Education Lottery 200 at The Rock presented by Cheerwine.

Matt Crafton raved about Rockingham Speedway's tire-grinding track surface as the weekend opened, but after Sunday's Carolina Education Lottery 200 at The Rock presented by Cheerwine, he realized that attempting to keep up with the track's varying condition had been his undoing.

Johnny Sauter was purely philosophical Sunday at Rockingham Speedway after his ThorSport Racing team fell short of establishing a NASCAR record in the Carolina Education Lottery 200 at The Rock presented by Cheerwine.

For the third consecutive week, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will put on some of the best racing on the circuit. Red Horse Racing will take over Kansas Speedway for the series first visit to a 1.5-mile venue this season. This will be the second visit for John Wes Townley to the D-shaped oval in his Zaxby's Toyota Tundra. The driver collected a 16th-place finish last spring in the 167-lap event and is anxious to showcase his talent during the SFP 250.

Looking to repeat last year’s success at Rockingham Speedway, James Buescher and the entire Rheem Turner Scott Motorsports team brought TSM-214, the chassis that Buescher won four races with in 2012.

Kyle Larson made his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start of the 2013 season and completed a dominating effort at Rockingham Speedway on Sunday afternoon in the NC Education Lottery 200 presented by Cheerwine.

Miguel Paludo fought back from an 18th-place starting position and battled an initially loose truck to finish 10th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' (NCWTS) second trip to Rockingham Speedway.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished third (Brendan Gaughan) and 12th (Ty Dillon). Dillon is tied for sixth in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver championship point standings, trailing leader Johnny Sauter by 37 markers, while Gaughan ranks 12th, 47 points back.
