Cale Gale drove the No. 33 Rheem Chevrolet to a 19th-place finish in the N.C. Education Lottery 200 on Friday night. The Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender fought back from being two laps down to finish on the lead lap at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series' (NCWTS) fifth race of the season.

Surviving through a caution-ridden 200 miles of NASCAR Camping World Truck Series racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Friday night, Dakoda Armstrong picked his way through traffic to grab a 13th place finish.

Officials from American Ethanol and Iowa Speedway are excited to announce that both NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races, the first one being on July 14 and second being on September 15, now have an entitlement sponsor – the America Ethanol 200, July 14; the American Ethanol 200, September 15.

Ron Hornaday, making his eighth start at Charlotte Motor Speedway, conserved fuel to finish fifth in the N.C. Education Lottery 200 on Friday night. This was Hornaday's sixth top-five finish in eight starts at the 1.5-mile quad-oval and Joe Denette Motorsports' first top-five finish of the 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season.

Max Gresham and the No. 24 Joe Denette Motorsports team didn't get the results they expected in Friday night's N.C. Education Lottery 200 and, as a result, left Charlotte Motor Speedway with a 24th-place finish in the fifth event on the 2012 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished seventh (Joey Coulter), 10th (Ty Dillon) and 12th (Brendan Gaughan).

Miguel Paludo brought home a hard-fought top-15 in a caution-filled race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, gaining one position in the driver point standings. Paludo surged as high as third and avoided multiple on-track incidents, but tight handling ultimately resulted in a 14th-place finish for the No. 32 Duroline Brakes and Components Chevrolet.

Justin Lofton earned his first career victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway, joining two other rookie winners in the Camping World Truck Series in 2012. It was the 55th start for the Westmoreland CA native. At age 26, Lofton held off a hard charging Brad Keselowski to take the checkers.
