With fuel no longer a concern when it came to crunch time, fan-favorite Ross Chastain was able to take home his third checkered flag of the 2019 season and becomes more of a threat for the championship.

GMS Racing announced today that Jeff Stankiewicz will assume the crew chief duties for the No. 2 Chevy Accessories Chevrolet piloted by Sheldon Creed in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS). Stankiewicz and Creed have history as the duo captured the 2018 ARCA Racing Series championship together.

Tyler Ankrum earned a first-career NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series victory when he took the checkered flag in Thursday's Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky. The 18-year-old San Bernardino, Calif. native's win also marked DGR-Crosley's first victory in the series.

For the third time this season Ross Chastain visited Victory Lane with Niece Motorsports in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS). This time, the win at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway counted towards Chastain’s bid to make the playoffs.

The penalty appeal hearing was held on Wednesday morning and a decision was made early afternoon. Despite all efforts by Chastain and Al Niece, they lost the appeal, therefore will not be able to get the win back and will receive a last place finish along with five points.

NASCAR officials announced Tuesday that Johnny Sauter has been suspended for one race due to his actions at Iowa Speedway under caution and cannot compete in this weekend's upcoming Truck Series race at Gateway.

Announced earlier this morning by team crew chief, Wally Rogers, All Out Motorsports, a NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series team was shut down Tuesday. The team had driver and team owner, Korbin Forrister, behind the wheel.

About an hour the race concluded, NASCAR officials made the announcement that race winner Chastain failed post race inspection after finding the ride heights being too low.

DGR-Crosley announced today that Wilton, Calif. native Dylan Lupton (@LuptonDylan) will join the team for a minimum of six NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series races this season.
