Christopher Bell was the highest-finishing Supra driver, as he finished third for his ninth top-five finish of the season.

“It’s a big fast oval. One of the few race tracks that we go to that you can run all over. There is multiple racing grooves, different ways that you can attack the race track. It’s really cool to be able to come to a track like this. It’s cool as a driver when you can move around and try to find more speed in the car.”

“So I had a really fun weekend scheduled and unfortunately the Midwest weather put an end to it. After Iowa, I was planning on – well, I did fly straight to Ohio and I was going to do the Ohio Speedweek Monday through Saturday. I was supposed to get six races in. We flew up, rained out Monday, rained out Tuesday so I flew home and didn’t get to race. Very rare weekend off for me.”

“Chicago is always a blast. It is one of the best mile-and-a-halves that we go to. There isn’t that many wrecks. It definitely produces top, bottom and middle groove racing. For a driver, that’s what we love. We love being able to move around. We don’t have any big Cup drivers in this race. Those guys do a great job of knowing when the top is not good and going to the bottom. And when the bottom isn’t good, they know when to go back to the top. Those are big things that those guys know what to do with their experience.”

"We’re heading to Chicagoland Speedway this weekend. We’ve got two cars – the No. 10 and No. 11, with teammate, Ross Chastain, who just came off a win. We’ve had really fast mile-and-a-half cars and we had speed at Iowa last race. Hopefully we can catch another Top-5 and maybe go for the win."

“We’ve been pretty consistent here lately, and stringing together top-five and top-10 finishes is a good way to keep building for the Playoffs. The last race of the regular season is on a 1.5-mile oval and there are four of them in the Playoffs, so what we learn now is going to help us then, when it really counts. Our Pilot Flying J team is clicking on all cylinders, and I look forward to another race in the Midwest on a track I’ve done well on in the past.”– Michael Annett

John Hunter Nemechek and GMS Racing will utilize chassis no. 224 this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. This chassis has been run once this season by Nemechek at Atlanta Motor Speedway (start: 10th/finish: 20th)
