13 Tell-Tale Signs You Need A Cummins Water Pump Replacement

Your RAM truck, an embodiment of strength and prowess, requires attentive care to sustain its outstanding performance and longevity.

Among the various components demanding attention, the often-overlooked Cummins water pump plays a crucial role in keeping your engine cool and running smoothly. Mastering the art of detecting when a Cummins water pump replacement is due is vital in preserving your RAM truck’s steadfast reliability and circumventing those dreaded, wallet-draining repairs.

This feature will discuss some tell-tale signs that your Cummins water pump may need replacement and offer expert guidance on the essential steps to embark upon next—ensuring you’re well-equipped to navigate any cooling system challenges that come your way.

  1. Overheating Engine

One of the primary functions of the Cummins water pump of a RAM truck is to circulate coolant through the engine, preventing it from overheating. If you notice that your RAM truck’s temperature gauge is consistently reading higher than usual, it could be an indication that the water pump is failing. Overheating can cause significant damage to your engine, so it’s essential to address this issue promptly.

  1. Coolant Leaks

Another common sign that your Cummins water pump may need replacement is the presence of coolant leaks around the front of your engine. The water pump uses a seal and gasket to keep coolant inside the system, and when these components wear out, coolant can leak out. If you notice a puddle of coolant under your RAM truck or a constant loss of coolant without any apparent source, it’s time to have your water pump inspected.

  1. Whining Or Grinding Noises

A failing water pump can sometimes produce a high-pitched whining or grinding noise that originates from the front of your engine. This noise is typically caused by a worn or damaged bearing within the water pump, and ignoring it can lead to complete water pump failure.

If you hear any unusual sounds coming from your engine, it’s best to have your RAM truck inspected by a professional. When replacement is necessary, you’ll need to install a new Cummins water pump. Check out links like https://youtu.be/5xzVItjSDRE to help you be knowledgeable about how a Cummins water pump replacement is carried out.

  1. Steam From the Radiator

Steam coming from your radiator is another sign that your Cummins water pump may be on its last legs. If the water pump isn’t circulating coolant effectively, the engine can overheat, causing the coolant to boil and produce steam. This issue can result in severe engine damage if left unaddressed, so don’t ignore steam billowing from your radiator.

  1. Erratic Temperature Gauge Readings

If your temperature gauge is fluctuating wildly or providing inconsistent readings, it could be a sign that your RAM diesel water pump is struggling to maintain proper coolant flow. This issue may not necessarily indicate a complete water pump failure, but it’s worth having your cooling system inspected to identify any potential problems.

  1. Frequent Coolant Top-Ups

If you find yourself constantly topping up your RAM truck’s coolant reservoir, it may be a sign that your Cummins water pump is starting to fail. While some coolant loss is normal, a significant increase in the frequency of top-ups could indicate that your water pump is struggling to maintain proper circulation. Make sure to monitor your coolant levels regularly and consult a professional mechanic if you suspect a problem with your water pump.

  1. Visible Rust Or Corrosion

Over time, the metal components of your Cummins water pump can become susceptible to rust and corrosion, leading to reduced performance and eventual failure. If you notice rust or corrosion on the exterior of your water pump or around the mounting bolts, it’s a clear indication that the pump is deteriorating and may need replacement soon.

  1. Poor Performance And Reduced Fuel Efficiency

A failing water pump can cause your engine to run hotter than it should, leading to reduced overall performance and fuel efficiency. If you’ve noticed a drop in your RAM truck’s power or fuel economy, it’s worth having your Cummins water pump inspected for signs of wear or damage. Replacing a worn water pump can help restore your vehicle’s performance and fuel efficiency.

  1. Sudden Engine Shutdown

In some cases, a failing Cummins water pump can cause your engine to shut down suddenly as a protective measure against overheating. If you’ve experienced a sudden engine shutdown and ruled out other common causes, it’s time to have your water pump and cooling system inspected by a professional mechanic.

  1. Loose Or Damaged Pulley

The Cummins water pump is driven by a pulley, which can become loose or damaged over time. If you notice wobbling or excessive play in the water pump pulley, it may indicate that the pump itself is failing. Inspecting the pulley for visible signs of wear or damage can help you determine if a water pump replacement is needed.

  1. Unusual Coolant Color or Consistency

Your RAM truck’s coolant should be a consistent color and texture. If you notice that the coolant has become discolored or has an unusual consistency, such as appearing thick or sludgy, it could be a sign that your Cummins water pump isn’t circulating coolant effectively. A compromised water pump can lead to improper coolant circulation and contribute to engine overheating.

  1. Heater Malfunction

Your vehicle’s heater relies on the proper circulation of coolant to function effectively. If your Cummins water pump is failing, it can result in poor heater performance or complete heater failure. If you notice that your RAM truck’s heater isn’t producing adequate heat or takes an unusually long time to warm up, it might be worth having your water pump inspected.

  1. Frequent Engine Overheating Warnings

Modern RAM trucks are equipped with warning systems to alert you when your engine is overheating. If you receive frequent engine overheating warnings, even when driving in normal conditions, it could be a sign that your Cummins water pump is not functioning correctly. Don’t ignore these warnings, as they may indicate a serious issue with your cooling system.

What To Do When You Suspect A Cummins Water Pump Replacement Is Needed

If you’ve observed any of the tell-tale signs discussed above, don’t delay in seeking the expertise of a professional mechanic to inspect your Cummins water pump. These skilled specialists possess the knowledge and tools necessary to evaluate the health of your water pump and determine whether a replacement is the best course of action.

Tackling water pump issues head-on not only shields you from more extensive repairs in the future but also steers you clear of potential engine damage. Keep in mind that while investing in a water pump replacement today might feel like a substantial outlay, it’s a mere drop in the bucket compared to the costly aftermath of turning a blind eye to a faltering water pump.

Conclusion

By keeping a keen eye on the tell-tale signs that your Cummins water pump might require replacement, you’re taking a vital step in preserving the performance, reliability, and longevity of your cherished RAM truck.

Understanding Car Accident Laws: Your Rights as a Driver

Photo by Niclas Lundin on Unsplash

When driving, it is important to be aware of your rights and responsibilities on the road. Unfortunately, car accidents are an unavoidable reality. Understanding what you should do after a crash – including knowing your rights as a driver under the law – can help make sure that any damages resulting from such events are handled appropriately.

In this blog post, we will explore everything you need to know about car accident laws so that you can navigate any future legal situation with confidence. By exploring the various kinds of insurance coverage available and understanding how fault is determined legally, we hope to equip drivers with the knowledge they need to secure their rights after a crash. So join us as we dive deep into this fascinating topic!

What to do if you are in a car accident

If you are unfortunate enough to be involved in a car accident, there are certain steps you should take to protect your interests. First, make sure to stay at the scene until it is safe for all parties and get medical attention if needed. Next, contact local law enforcement and report the incident; be prepared to provide any pertinent details, such as physical descriptions of involved drivers and witnesses. Additionally, you can consult New York car accident legal experts at Perecman.com or any other expert who can provide valuable advice on what your rights are as a driver after an accident. Taking these steps will ensure that applicable insurance claims or court proceedings can move forward swiftly, accurately, and securely.

Your legal rights as a driver in an accident situation

Under car accident laws, it is important to remember that you have a fundamental right to be protected during what can be an incredibly stressful experience. When you use a lawyer like these Winter Haven car accident lawyers (or wherever is local to you), you will be ensured that your rights and interests are respected after an accident. Do your research beforehand to understand applicable laws and regulations in your state. Remember, too, that legal services are available and can provide additional peace of mind during the aftermath of an accident. Being informed about your rights as a driver is key to making sure the effects of any incident are kept to a minimum.

Understanding the different types of car accidents and what they mean legally

Knowing what type of accident you are in can make all the difference in determining legal rights and liabilities. To understand the differences between these types of car accidents, it’s helpful to explore two major categories – fault-based and no-fault-based accidents. Fault-based collisions occur when one driver’s negligence causes an accident, meaning they become financially responsible for property damage and any related personal injuries. On the other hand, no-fault-based laws try to keep drivers from arguing in court over who was at fault for an accident. Instead, each driver’s insurance company covers related damages stemming from the collision regardless of who caused it. This type of system limits a driver’s right to sue another directly following an accident unless serious injury or death results.

How to file a claim for damages

If you’ve been involved in a car accident that was caused by the negligence of another driver, understanding how to file a claim for damages is essential. In this scenario, the best thing you can do is obtain an attorney who is knowledgeable in car accident laws and can guide you through the process. It’s important to note that while filing claims with an insurance provider may seem straightforward, there can be several factors and legal issues that need to be addressed: it’s not just as simple as making a phone call and seeking compensation. By involving an expert in car accident laws, they will ensure that each claim has all of the appropriate documentation and evidence needed so you get the best outcome possible.

Tips for dealing with insurance companies after an accident

The best thing you can do for yourself after a car accident is to take the time to research what rights you have as a driver and understand how you should proceed with your claim. It’s important to remember that you have a right to receive payment for losses that occurred during the accident, including medical bills, lost wages, and any other damage-related payments. Additionally, some states also allow drivers to seek additional compensation due to pain and suffering resulting from the incident. Taking the time to familiarize yourself with relevant car accident laws in your area can help you better negotiate with the insurance company to get the fair reimbursement you deserve.

Dealing with medical bills after an accident and understanding your rights

Depending on the laws of your state, your medical bills might be completely or partially covered by insurance. Get informed about potential sources of coverage, such as personal injury protection (PIP), medical payments coverage, workers’ compensation systems, Medicare and Medicaid, health insurance plans, and tort law. Take the time to research relevant regulations and procedures to properly protect yourself from incurring excessive costs due to a car accident.

All drivers should know the basics of car accident laws and have an understanding of their rights when in a car accident situation. In addition, you must know what to do in the event of an accident and know how to file a claim for damages. Understanding the different types of accidents can also help you understand your legal rights. Lastly, some tips can help you deal with insurance companies after an accident, as well as deal with medical bills and understand your rights where these matters are concerned. By learning and understanding these basic concepts now, you will be better informed in case an unexpected car accident occurs in the future. Being empowered with this knowledge will give you peace of mind when it comes to keeping yourself, your passengers, and others on the roads safe.

How to install a tesla model y roof rack

The process for installing a Tesla Model Y roof rack involves a few steps:

Purchase a compatible roof rack

The first step is to purchase a roof rack compatible with the Tesla Model Y. Tesla offers its own roof rack as an accessory, but third-party options are also available.

Clean the roof

Before installing the roof rack, clean the roof of your Tesla Model Y to ensure that it is free of dirt and debris. This will help the roof rack to adhere firmly and prevent any scratches or damage to the paint.

Installation

The roof rack should come with instructions for installation, which will vary depending on the type of roof rack you have. In general, the roof rack will attach to the roof using a series of clamps or bolts. Make sure that the roof rack is securely attached and bolts are tightened with the appropriate torque.

Test the roof rack

After installing the roof rack, test it to confirm whether it is secure and can hold the weight of whatever you plan to carry. You may want to start with a lighter load and gradually increase the weight to test if the roof rack is stable.

Load your gear

Once the roof rack is installed and tested, you can load your gear onto it. The weight should be evenly distributed, and the accessories should be securely fastened to the roof rack.

How to choose a Tesla model Y roof rack

If you are looking to purchase a roof rack for your Tesla Model Y, there are a few factors to consider:

Compatibility

While buying the roof rack, check if it is compatible with your Tesla Model Y. You can check the manufacturer’s website or consult a Tesla dealer to confirm compatibility.

Load Capacity

Determine what you will be using the roof rack for, and make sure the crossbar you choose can handle the weight of your equipment or cargo. Keep in mind that the weight limit for the Tesla Model Y roof is 165 lbs (75 kg).

Aerodynamics

Choose a roof rack that is designed to be aerodynamic to minimize wind resistance and noise while driving. This will help to reduce fuel consumption and improve your driving experience.

Installation

Consider how easy it is to install the roof rack. Look for a model that is easy to install and remove, as well as one that will not damage your car.

Cost

Compare the cost of different roof racks, and make sure that you choose one that fits within your budget.

Consider types

Different types of Tesla model y roof racks are available with unique designs and load-carrying capacities. Before purchasing, you should consider how much load you have to carry.

If you need to travel with heavy equipment, a hitch-mounted roof rack will be best. Contrary, if you want to carry lightweight accessories, a cross-board type roof rack will go with your car.

Comparing Tesla roof rack models

Tesla Model Y Roof Rack

The Tesla Model Y Roof Rack is a custom-designed roof rack specifically made for the Model Y. It is a sleek, low-profile roof rack that is designed to seamlessly integrate with the Model Y’s roofline. The roof rack is easy to install and comes with a set of four mounting brackets that attach directly to the Model Y’s roof.

The Tesla Model 3 Roof Rack is also a custom-designed roof rack. It is a lightweight, aerodynamic roof rack designed to be easily installed and removed. The roof rack comes with a set of four mounting brackets that attach to the Model 3’s roof.

Both these roof racks are designed to be compatible with a wide range of Tesla-approved accessories, such as bike racks, ski racks, and cargo boxes. It’s important to note that installing a roof rack on your Tesla may impact your vehicle’s overall range and performance, so it’s recommended that you consult your owner’s manual or a Tesla representative before making any modifications to your vehicle.

Tips to Install the Tesla Roof Rack

Read the instructions

Before starting the installation process, carefully read the instructions provided by Tesla. Make sure you have all the necessary tools and parts available.

Cleaning roof

Before installing the roof rack, the roof of your car should be clean and free of debris. Use mild soap and water to wash the roof, and dry it with a clean cloth.

Installation tool

Tesla recommends using a socket wrench to tighten the roof rack mounting bolts. Wrench will help ensure that the bolts are firmly fixed to the correct specifications and that the roof rack is securely attached to the vehicle.

Weight limits

Follow the weight limits specified by Tesla for the roof rack and any accessories you plan to attach to it. Overloading the roof rack can damage your vehicle and impact its performance.

Check the installation

Once the roof rack is installed, check it thoroughly to check if it is secure and level. Give the car a gentle shake to validate it is not loose, and check that all the bolts and mounting brackets are tightened.

Professional installation

If you are unsure about installing the roof rack or do not have the necessary tools or experience, consider calling the professionals. Tesla offers installation services at their service centers, and third-party installation services are also available.

Chase Briscoe Joins AM Racing for NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Race on Dirt at Bristol

STATESVILLE, N.C.: Officials from AM Racing confirmed today that NASCAR Cup Series driver Chase Briscoe will pilot the team’s No. 22 Ford F-150 in Saturday night’s WEATHER GUARD Truck Race on Dirt at the famed Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.

Briscoe, a native of Mitchell, Ind. will return to the Truck Series for the first time since the 2021 season while also returning to competition on the dirt in an F-150 at the historic half-mile since finishing fifth in the inaugural Pinty’s Truck Race On Dirt in March 2021.

“I’m really excited for this opportunity with AM Racing and Production Alliance Group,” said Briscoe, driver of the No. 14 Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.

“I always look forward to the Bristol dirt weekend and to be able to get on track twice as much and feel things out will be a lot of fun and, I hope, really beneficial. I know everyone at AM Racing has worked hard to get the truck ready and I think it’s anyone’s race when it comes to the dirt events.

“I got the chance to run Bristol a few years ago, and I’ve run the truck race at Knoxville, so I’ve got a good idea of how the truck itself will act on dirt. It’ll really just come down to how the track surface changes and whether things can stay green for long enough to make a move.

“I love going back to the truck series so hopefully I’ll be able to pick up my second dirt win in a truck this weekend.”

Longtime Briscoe partner and Tustin, Calif.-based Production Alliance Group (PAG) will serve as the primary marketing partner for the seventh NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race of the season.

Production Alliance Group (PAG) is a premium live event and creative development company that works with the top names and brands in both the corporate and entertainment industries. PAG brings creative excellence and relevant execution to every opportunity, big or small. PAG engages and collaborates with its customers and industry partners and together create experiences that move and impressions that last.

In addition to PAG, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts will serve as a major associate marketing partner on Briscoe’s No. 22 Production Alliance Group Ford F-150.

Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, a woman-owned business headquartered in Warsaw, Ind., is the leading retailer of Alumitech, ATC, Featherlite, Haulmark, inTech, United Trailers, Bolt Custom Motorcoachs and E-Z-Go Golf Carts.

They serve and ship to locations in the United States and Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Their team can have your brand-new trailer or golf cart delivered right to your front door, anywhere in the United States!

“Providing racing families and fans with the best trailer and custom cart options is the core of our business,” offered Cindy Elliott, owner of Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts. “As NASCAR returns to dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway, we’re excited to partner with AM Racing and Chase Briscoe for the opportunity to showcase Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts in NASCAR.

“The foundation of Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts was built on a passion for short track racing, by a racing family. This partnership is the perfect fit. We can’t wait to see Chase Briscoe behind the wheel of the AM racing No. 22 truck on the track and his custom Elliott’s golf cart around the track.”

Briscoe cut his teeth racing on the dirt tracks of Southern Indiana, following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather. The third-generation racer’s first time behind the wheel of a racecar came in 2001 driving a quarter midget. He won his first heat race and the feature event later that evening. Briscoe moved on to mini sprints and, when he was 13, stepped into a 410 sprint car. In his first race, he finished 10th in a 40-car field.

Briscoe made the transition from dirt to stock car racing at the age of 19 but has since stuck to his roots by competing in a handful of dirt racing events each year, and he consistently added to the win column.

In addition to his experience at the Bristol Motor Speedway Dirt Track, the 28-year-old has made three Truck Series starts on the dirt track at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

He finished no worse than seventh in each and earned the win in the 2018 event, starting from third and leading a total of 54 laps en route to capturing the event’s Golden Shovel trophy in his only Truck Series start of the season in the No. 27 Ford.

“AM Racing is thrilled to have Chase Briscoe behind the wheel of our No. 22 Production Alliance Group | Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts Ford F-150 at Bristol,” said AM Racing president Wade Moore. “We started putting the wheels in motion about having Chase drive for us at Bristol right around Daytona and once we knew he was interested, we have been steadily preparing for this race.

“Chase is a talented race car driver but his experience and feedback on dirt will be a huge asset to our organization as we chase our first career win in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. Without a doubt, we believe Chase will not only put our team in contention, but he will have an opportunity to also win his third career Truck Series race.”

U.S. NAVY BLUE ANGELS FEATURED PERFORMERS AT MAY 27-28 GREAT POCONO RACEWAY AIR SHOW

  • Blue Angels appearance will be the unit’s first public show in the Northeast on the 2023 tour.
  • F-22 Raptor Demo Team, Vampire Airshow, Rob Holland and Rick Volker also scheduled to perform in the stadium-seating weekend event.
  • Family friendly, single-day tickets begin at $25 for adults, $10 for kids 12 and under

LONG POND, Pa. (April 3, 2023) – The vaunted United States Navy Blue Angels will make their first public appearance in the Northeast on May 27-28 as the featured aviation event of the Great Pocono Raceway Airshow.

The third edition of the Great Pocono Raceway Airshow will feature the Blue Angels for the first time among the several performers scheduled for the stadium-seating weekend event at Pocono Raceway.

The Blue Angels are a flight demonstration squadron of the United States Navy that was formed in 1946. The unit, which is the world’s second-oldest formal aerobatic team, has impressed crowds with its high-speed precision of formations, stunning rolls and incredible maneuvers in Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft. Since their inception, the Blue Angels have performed for more than 500 million people around the globe.

“The iconic F-18s of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the F22 Raptor will bring an intense level of raw power, speed, and precision to the Great Pocono Raceway Airshow,” Pocono Raceway President Ben May said. “The addition of the MXS-RH, the SU-26M and the Vampire will showcase astonishing aerobatics and innovative maneuvers that will dazzle every eye while defying the limits of man and machine. No one is going to want to miss this show.”

In addition to the Blue Angels, each day will feature four other shows ranging from premier fighter aircraft to classics in the two-hour shows that begin at 1 p.m. ET.

Also performing daily:

  • Air Combat Command F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team. This U.S. Air Force unit will showcase the unique capabilities of the world’s premier fifth-generation air dominance fighter aircraft with a number of precision aerial maneuvers like the power loop, split and tail slide. The F-22 Raptor’s combination of stealth, supercruise, maneuverability and integrated avionics, coupled with improved supportability, represents an exponential leap in warfighting capabilities. The F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team, stationed at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Va., debuted in 2007 and have performed at more than 250 demonstrations across the world.
  • Vampire Airshows. This show is a mix of entertainment and education with the de Havilland Vampire DH-115, which was developed as the world’s first single-engine jet fighter. This classic aircraft can still perform rolls, Cuban eights, Shark tooths, inverted flight and high-speed passes along that is accented by a stunning smoke system.
  • Rob Holland Ultimate Airshows. Holland will impress with his stunts in the MXS-RH, a custom-designed, single-seat aerobatic aircraft made of carbon fiber and based off the popular MXS model. The aircraft, weighing just 1,200 pounds and powered by a 380-horsepower Lycoming engine, has the ability to pull 16 positive and negative Gs and roll at nearly 500 degrees per second. The plane’s ability, coupled with Holland’s talents, allows him to perform innovated maneuvers unequalled on the airshow tours.
  • Rick Volker Airshows. Volker will dazzle in the Sukhoi SU26M, which remains one of the most capable unlimited aerobatic designs due to a combination of a wing made for high lift at extreme angles and huge propeller that provides a 1:1 ratio of static thrust. The result is Volker being able to demonstrate complex signature maneuvers like giant cartwheels, rolling loops and horizontal tail slides to name a few.

All seating is general admission and located in the Pocono Raceway frontstretch grandstand. Single-day tickets for Saturday, May 27, or Sunday, May 28, begin at just $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under in the 200 level. Tickets also are available in the shaded 300 level for $50 each day (all ages). Tickets purchased at the gate are $30 for adults and $15 for children.

For more ticket information, please click HERE or call the Pocono ticket office at 1-800-722-3929 (Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-5 p.m.).

Gates will open two hours prior to the start of the show at 11 a.m. and parking lots will open at 10 a.m.

The event is under the planning and guidance of David Schultz Airshows LLC of Clearfield, Pa. Schultz Airshows has coordinated airshows and provided the air traffic control and announcing for over 500 events in their 25-year history across North America and the Caribbean.

Many of their events are well known in the region, including airshows along the Atlantic City Beachfront, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Dover AFB, Binghamton, NY, and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pa.

Jonathan Davenport to Wheel Spire Motorsports No. 7 Chevy Silverado at Bristol Motor Speedway

CONCORD, N.C. (April 3, 2023) – Spire Motorsports announced today dirt late model racing standout Jonathan Davenport will pilot the team’s No. 7 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) Chevrolet Silverado in Saturday night’s WEATHER GUARD Truck Race on Dirt at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Nutrien Ag Solutions is the primary sponsor for Davenport’s NCTS effort. He is also scheduled to make his first NASCAR Cup Series start in Sunday’s Food City Dirt Race at the famed half-mile oval for Kaulig Racing.

Davenport, widely known as “Superman” on the dirt late model racing scene, further cemented his legacy as one of the sport’s all-time greats by collecting a $1 million dollar payday last June when he captured the checkered flag at the Eldora Million at Eldora (Ohio) Speedway.

“I’m really excited to run for Spire Motorsports in the truck race and make one of the biggest weekends of my racing career even bigger,” said Davenport. “Being able to get in a truck for a team that has proven they can get it done will only boost my confidence for the weekend. With the added track time in the Nutrien Ag Solutions No. 7 Silverado, hopefully it’ll shorten my learning curve for both races.”

The Blairsville, Ga., native is a three-time Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series Champion (2015,2018,2019) and the 2022 XR Super Series titlist. Last season, Davenport made 81 starts and surpassed the $2 million mark in season earnings. He is a two-time Bristol winner in dirt late model competition.

“We’re thrilled to have Jonathan Davenport in our truck at Bristol,” said crew chief Kevin “Bono” Manion. “To be able to prepare our truck and work with a someone as accomplished as JD is a tremendous opportunity for Spire Motorsports. We expect to race for wins every time we unload and having JD in the seat Saturday night at Bristol raises the bar a little bit higher.”

The WEATHER GUARD Truck Race on Dirt will be televised live on FS1 Saturday, April 8 beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). The race will be broadcast live on the Performance Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90. Heat races will be televised live on FS1 beginning at 4:30 p.m. EDT.
