Corey Heim captured the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series pole at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday evening with a 28.946-second lap at 131.583 mph.

He will lead the field to green for Saturday’s Team EJP 175 race and will be joined on the front row by Chandler Smith. Ty Majeski, Layne Riggs and Tanner Gray completed the top-five fastest drivers in the qualifying session.

“I really thought our fire off speed was kind of our strong suit, so I felt pretty good about qualifying,” Heim said. “It was mostly the kind of consistent race runs that we were doing that I could have felt a little better about, and I still have that same mindset.

“But you know, being on the pole here, as most drivers know, is a pretty big deal, just with how hard it is to pass,” he continued. “Starting up front here puts us ahead of the game, but I feel like we got a little bit of work to do to consistently throw out a run just to be the best truck.”

Matt Crafton, Brent Crews, Corey LaJoie, Jake Garcia and Tyler Ankrum rounded out the top-10.

This weekend’s race will mark the end of the Round of 10 in the Playoffs.. Two competitors will be eliminated from championship contention at the conclusion of the event.

Jake Garcia and Chandler Smith are currently 9th and 10th, respectively, in the playoff standings.

You can tune into the Truck Series Team EJP 175 race on Saturday at noon. It will be broadcast on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR radio.

NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Quotes

LOUDON, N.H. (September 19, 2025) – TRICON Garage driver Corey Heim was made available to the media on Friday after earning the pole position for Saturday’s NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

COREY HEIM, No. 11 Safelite Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, TRICON Garage

Are you at a point in your career and in your season where you’re just feeling it with all the success you’ve had?

“Yeah, I feel like being with this group and the 11 crew with the TRICON Garage Toyota, I feel like the last – this is my third full time season with these guys – and I feel like ever since I started with them, I’ve always felt at home and very comfortable and very confident in my equipment. It’s really just been up to me to kind of continue to progress and also to them to not get complacent with the equipment and continue to learn and grow. Yes, to answer your question I do, but I’ve honestly felt like that longer than you probably think. Just being able to work with Scott Zipadelli (crew chief) and really TRICON Garage as a whole and Toyota. Just being able to feel at home, and comfortable and confident every week, it definitely goes a long way.”

Can you talk about how key it will be for you to have that front row starting position for tomorrow’s race?

“Yeah, honestly, I felt like coming here, and racing in the Xfinity race last year, I didn’t really remember it being that track position dependent. But with the extended practice I had a lot of opportunities to mess around with traffic and dirty air and stuff and it’s definitely a big game changer to be out front. So, not sure if everyone kind of felt the same way in regards to that, but I definitely felt like I slowed down a lot just being behind one another rather than having a fresh, clean race track in front of you. So, I would agree with that. I think it’s going to be very important to not only be upfront but also to stay up there.”

What Racing Fans Should Look For in Their Next Car

For NASCAR fans, the thrill of race day doesn’t stop when the chequered flag waves. The roar of engines, the smell of rubber, and the heart-pounding excitement of a last-lap pass live on long after leaving the grandstands. When it comes time to buy a new car, many fans naturally want something that channels the energy of the track into everyday driving. Whether you’re gearing up for road trips to the Daytona 500, heading to a local short track, or just want a car that makes every commute more exciting, here’s how to shop like a true racing enthusiast.

Performance Inspired by the Track

NASCAR’s appeal starts with speed and precision. The cars you see on Sunday are built to endure extreme conditions, and while your next car won’t be running restrictor plates or superspeedway gearing, you can still find models that echo those race-bred characteristics.

  • Engine and Power Delivery – Look for engines that deliver smooth yet thrilling acceleration. Turbocharged four-cylinders, V6s, or V8s can all offer that satisfying surge when you press the pedal. Even if you don’t need 700 horsepower, a responsive engine keeps driving fun.
  • Handling and Balance – NASCAR drivers thrive on balance through the turns, and the same principle makes a street car more engaging. Test cars for steering feel, cornering stability, and suspension tuning. A sport-tuned suspension or adaptive damping system can provide a more planted, race-inspired drive without sacrificing comfort.
  • Transmission Options – Manual transmissions remain a fan favorite for ultimate control, but many automatics now offer paddle shifters or sport modes that replicate the excitement of making quick, decisive shifts on the backstretch.

The Sound of Speed

One of NASCAR’s most unforgettable elements is its soundtrack; the deep rumble of V8 engines echoing across grandstands. The right car can bring that experience to your daily routine.

  • Exhaust Note – Listen carefully during test drives. A car with a sporty exhaust can provide a satisfying growl under acceleration, while still being refined enough for quiet highway cruising.
  • Engine Acoustics – Some vehicles use active sound systems that amplify engine noise for a more thrilling drive. It’s not quite the same as a superspeedway pack, but it can make every green-light launch feel like a start on pit road.

Everyday Practicality for Race Day Road Trips

NASCAR fans are no strangers to long drives. Whether you’re chasing the next Cup Series stop or heading to a Saturday night dirt track, comfort and convenience are just as important as performance.

  • Comfortable Seating – Supportive seats with good bolstering reduce fatigue on long journeys and keep you comfortable when carving through curves.
  • Technology for the Journey – Look for infotainment systems with real-time traffic updates, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and high-quality sound systems to stream race broadcasts or podcasts during those hours on the interstate.
  • Cargo SpaceTailgating is a NASCAR tradition. Make sure there’s room for coolers, folding chairs, and flags to show off your team pride.

Style and Racing Heritage

Part of NASCAR’s appeal lies in its bold personalities and striking liveries. Your next car can reflect that same spirit.

  • Sporty Design Cues – Aero-inspired bodywork, aggressive front fascias, and eye-catching wheels give off a racing vibe without crossing into over-the-top territory.
  • Special Editions and Trims – Some automakers release NASCAR-themed or racing-inspired packages that include unique colors, badges, and performance upgrades. Keep an eye out for limited editions that celebrate your favorite tracks or drivers.

Where to Start Your Search

Finding the right car is easier when you shop with a dealership that understands performance and value. Fans in the Midwest can explore a wide range of cars for sale Wichita KS, to discover vehicles that balance excitement and everyday usability. Whether you’re after a sporty sedan, a capable SUV for long-haul road trips, or a powerful muscle car, starting with a trusted dealer gives you more options and confidence.

Bringing NASCAR Energy to Every Drive

The best part of being a NASCAR fan is that the excitement isn’t limited to the racetrack. By focusing on performance, handling, sound, and everyday practicality, you can bring a piece of that high-octane lifestyle to your daily drive. Your next car might not compete in the Daytona 500, but it can absolutely make every school run, work commute, or weekend getaway feel like a victory lap.

PLAYOFF ACTION HEATS UP FOR CONGRUITY NHRA PRO MOD SERIES WITH FOUR-WIDE RACING IN CHARLOTTE

CONCORD, N.C. (Sept. 18, 2025) – Coming off the biggest win of his career in the Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series, Michael Stavrinos is primed for a run at the championship in the class.

His victory in Indy at the prestigious Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals was the perfect start to the four-race “Road to the Championship” playoffs in the category and Stavrinos is eager to continue his hot streak at this weekend’s NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals at zMAX Dragway.

The four-wide spectacle adds a whole new thrilling dynamic to the playoff race in Pro Mod and Stavrinos can’t wait to get the weekend going in his Al-Anabi Performance Camaro.

“Winning at Indy is the highlight of my career so far and to come out of such a historic race with the Wally and the points lead is an incredible feeling,” Stavrinos said. “Our team has worked tirelessly to get here and carrying that momentum into Charlotte gives us a lot of confidence.”

This weekend is the eighth of 10 events during the 2025 Congruity NHRA Pro Mod season and the second of four playoff races. This weekend’s event in Indy is also powered by Shelton Insurance and Real Estate.

It’s the first-ever four-wide race in Pro Mod’s “Road to the Championship” and it’s a loaded 20-plus car field coming to Charlotte. Travis Harvey is the defending winner of the Charlotte fall race, but there’s an added dynamic this time around with the four-wide setup.

Stavrinos’ teammate, J.R. Gray, who had a dominating regular season, will look to get on track after suffering an early exit in Indy. He’s currently 61 points back in second, with multi-time world champ Rickie Smith 68 points behind Stavrinos. Billy Banaka is just a point behind Smith, while Derek Menholt, who was the runner-up in Indy, rounds out the top five.

The rest of the loaded lineup includes past champs Jordan Lazic, Mike Castellana, Stevie Jackson and Mike Janis, and standouts like Ken Quartuccio, Justin Bond and Mason Wright. It all adds up to a challenging weekend, but Stavrinos is ready and locked in on the task at hand.

“The competition in Pro Mod is as tough as it gets,” Stavrinos said. “But we’re focused on keeping the points lead and trying to win the championship.”

The Congruity NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series will kick off with two qualifying rounds on Friday at 3 and 5:45 p.m. ET, with the final two qualifying rounds set for 11:30 a.m. and 2:20 p.m. on Saturday. The first round of eliminations is slated for 12:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.

How Reckless Driving Can Lead to Personal Injury Claims in Summerville

Reckless driving isn’t just a traffic violation—it’s one of the leading causes of serious accidents on the road. In communities like Summerville, where busy intersections and growing traffic can increase risks, reckless driving often results in injuries that leave victims facing mounting medical bills, lost wages, and long recovery periods. When this happens, working with a Summerville Personal Injury Lawyer becomes essential for understanding your rights and pursuing compensation.

This article explores how reckless driving contributes to accidents, what makes a driving action “reckless” under South Carolina law, and how victims can seek justice through personal injury claims.

What Is Reckless Driving?

Reckless driving is more than simple carelessness. Under South Carolina law, reckless driving is defined as operating a vehicle with a “willful or wanton disregard for the safety of persons or property.” In everyday terms, it’s driving in a way that clearly puts others at risk.

Common examples include:

  • Excessive speeding, especially in neighborhoods or near schools
  • Running red lights or ignoring stop signs
  • Aggressive lane changes without signaling
  • Tailgating or road rage incidents
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

While many people assume only major accidents qualify as reckless, even a seemingly minor crash caused by such behaviors can create long-lasting injuries and financial strain for victims.

Why Reckless Driving Leads to Personal Injury Claims

A personal injury claim arises when one person’s negligent or reckless actions cause harm to another. With reckless driving, the connection is often clear: the driver chose to take dangerous actions, and those choices directly led to someone getting hurt.

Victims may file claims to recover damages for:

  • Medical expenses: hospital stays, physical therapy, or long-term treatment
  • Lost wages: income lost while recovering from injuries
  • Pain and suffering: physical and emotional toll of the accident
  • Property damage: repairs or replacement of a vehicle

In Summerville, victims don’t just have to rely on insurance companies, which may try to minimize payouts. By consulting a Summerville Personal Injury Lawyer, individuals gain an advocate who can negotiate with insurers or take the case to court if necessary.

The Role of Negligence in Reckless Driving Cases

Reckless driving cases often come down to proving negligence. For a successful personal injury claim, four elements typically must be shown:

  1. Duty of Care – Every driver has a responsibility to operate their vehicle safely.
  2. Breach of Duty – Reckless driving demonstrates a failure to uphold that duty.
  3. Causation – The reckless action must be the direct cause of the accident and resulting injuries.
  4. Damages – Victims must show they suffered actual harm, such as medical bills or lost income.

Because reckless driving is inherently dangerous, it often strengthens a victim’s case. Still, evidence is key, which is why gathering police reports, witness statements, and medical records becomes essential. A lawyer can help ensure this process is thorough and effective.

Common Injuries from Reckless Driving Accidents

Not every reckless driving accident results in the same type of harm. Some of the most common injuries include:

  • Whiplash and other soft tissue injuries
  • Broken bones and fractures
  • Concussions or traumatic brain injuries
  • Spinal cord damage
  • Cuts, bruises, and internal injuries

Even injuries that seem “minor” at first can evolve into chronic pain or long-term health problems. That’s why victims are encouraged to seek immediate medical attention after an accident—both for their well-being and to create a clear medical record for a personal injury claim.

Steps to Take After a Reckless Driving Accident in Summerville

If you’ve been involved in an accident caused by reckless driving, taking the right steps can make a significant difference in your claim:

  1. Call emergency services – Ensure safety and get medical help immediately.
  2. Contact law enforcement – A police report is a vital piece of evidence.
  3. Gather evidence – Take photos, collect witness contact information, and document details.
  4. Seek medical care – Even if you feel fine, some injuries take hours or days to appear.
  5. Consult a lawyer – A Summerville Personal Injury Lawyer can guide you through the claims process and protect your rights.

How a Summerville Personal Injury Lawyer Can Help

Dealing with the aftermath of a reckless driving accident can be overwhelming. Victims may face pressure from insurance companies to settle quickly for less than they deserve. A local personal injury lawyer can:

  • Evaluate the full extent of damages
  • Gather and present compelling evidence
  • Negotiate aggressively with insurers
  • Represent you in court if a fair settlement isn’t offered

Because they understand both South Carolina traffic laws and how local courts handle these cases, having a lawyer ensures victims aren’t navigating the process alone.

Preventing Reckless Driving in Summerville

While personal injury claims are vital for helping victims recover, prevention is equally important. Communities can reduce reckless driving by:

  • Supporting stronger enforcement of traffic laws
  • Educating drivers about risks and penalties
  • Encouraging defensive driving courses
  • Raising awareness about impaired driving

For individual drivers, practicing patience, avoiding distractions, and respecting speed limits can all help make Summerville roads safer.

Final Thoughts

Reckless driving isn’t just a momentary lapse in judgment—it’s a dangerous choice that can change lives in an instant. For victims in Summerville, knowing how personal injury claims work is critical for seeking justice and financial recovery.

If you or someone you love has been hurt by reckless driving, speaking with a Summerville Personal Injury Lawyer can provide the guidance and support you need to move forward. By holding reckless drivers accountable, victims not only protect their own rights but also contribute to making local roads safer for everyone.

Top Safety and Comfort Technologies Only Found in Luxury Vehicles

Image by Michael Kauer from Pixabay

What separates a true luxury car from an upscale one? It is not only the horsepower or impressive design, but the degree of sophistication of safety and comfort systems. In this post, we explore several state-of-the-art safety and comfort technologies that luxury vehicles offer. The goal is to give discerning buyers both peace of mind and an elevated driving experience.

Advanced Safety Technologies

Luxury cars are used frequently as a testbed of innovative safety features. Many of these later filter down into more accessible vehicles.

Night Vision and Visibility Enhancements

Night-vision cameras in luxury cars rely on thermal imaging technology. It uses infrared radiation to identify objects beyond the headlight range. This is supplemented by adaptive LED and laser headlights, which adjust the intensity and direction of the beam according to the speed, steering, and traffic. With these combined together, night driving becomes safer and easier.

Driver Monitoring and Semi-Autonomous Aids

Driver attention systems monitor the eye movement and head position to indicate fatigue or distraction. Some luxury cars are also equipped with semi-autonomous assistance, where adaptive cruise control is supplemented by lane centering and automated lane change. These reduce strain during highway travel while improving safety.

Collision Avoidance and Blind-Spot Protection

Collision avoidance systems offer automatic braking during emergencies, pedestrian recognition as well as cyclist recognition to reduce risks. Additional protection in congested traffic or urban driving is provided by enhanced blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alerts, occasionally with brake intervention.

Structural and Passive Safety Innovations

In luxury cars, the airbag system goes beyond normal coverage to offer curtain, knee and multi-chamber airbags in case of an angled impact. Whiplash protective seats, reinforced safety cells and designed crumple zones make sure that the impact forces are redirected and absorbed protecting passengers more efficiently.

Comfort Technologies Unique to Luxury

While safety is paramount, comfort remains central to the luxury driving experience.

Climate and Air Quality Systems

Multi-zone climate controls allow each passenger to maintain personal comfort. Sophisticated systems have humidity control, HEPA quality filtration, and ionization to maintain the air quality in the cabin. Select models add integrated fragrance diffusers, elevating ambiance beyond mere functionality.

Seating and Interior Comfort

Luxury seating ensures comfort over every journey. Massage, heating, cooling, and ventilation are offered to the front and rear passengers. Multi-way adjustments such as lumbar, thigh, and headrest adjustments ensure ergonomic accuracy. For those thinking how to sell my Ferrari, such interior refinement often becomes a winning factor.

Ride and Suspension Sophistication

Adaptive air suspension systems respond instantly to road texture and driver input, creating a smooth, “magic carpet” ride. The cabin atmosphere is kept serene through noise insulation, acoustic glass, and active noise cancellation. The contrast in refinement is impressive even in comparison with mainstream brands like Chevrolet.

Infotainment and Ambient Enhancements

A cutting-edge but friendly interior is produced by digital clusters, high-resolution head-up displays, and ambient lighting customizable to the user. High-quality sound systems provide theater-like sound, and rear seat entertainment keeps the passengers entertained. Details like soft-close doors, panorama roofs, and automatic sunshades play up exclusivity. These features are so desirable that even gaming platforms like iRacing Studios recreate them to get the luxury feel.

Why These Technologies Matter

These innovations go beyond indulgence. Safety systems passively minimize the risk of accidents and increase the awareness of the driver. And comfort features fight fatigue and enhance the quality of the long journeys. The combination of these factors leads to prestige, satisfaction with ownership, and futuristic attitude towards car design.

Endnote

Luxury cars are not just about speed or image. They are always first in safety and comfort technologies which ultimately get to be a standard expectation in the broader market. The next time you test-drive or choose a luxury car, pay close attention to these innovations.

A Quick Overview of the Rise of Timur Turlov and Freedom Holding

Photo by Austin Distel on Unsplash

Typically, you don’t read about non-Western success stories, but Timur Turlov is an exception. Turlov is an entrepreneur who founded Freedom Finance in 2008, a company that no one could have predicted would grow into a massive conglomerate. Today, Freedom Finance is known as Freedom Holding Corp, a gigantic multi-billion-dollar powerhouse that specializes in brokerage, banking, insurance, and more. From modest beginnings to one of the world’s most influential business leaders, continue reading to learn about Turlov’s growth and journey to financial success.

Early Life

Timur Turlov was born in 1987 and showed a promising interest in finance. Turlov started working in investment firms in his teenage years, acquiring a ton of experience. By applying this learned experience, he saw an opportunity to grow into a global market of investors willing to invest in the post-Soviet region. This opportunity manifested in the form of Freedom Finance.

Expansion

After only a few years, Freedom Finance spread beyond Russia, creating a significant presence in Kazakhstan. This expansion into Kazakhstan would quickly become one of the country’s leading brokerages, enabling further expansion into other regions worldwide. Following Kazakhstan, Freedom Finance expanded into Europe, which enabled access to the United States and other global stock markets.

During this time of expansion, a merger occurred in 2015 with BMB Munai, which subsequently formed the company we now know as Freedom Holding Corporation.

NASDAQ & Beyond

Four years after the merger, the company became known as Freedom Holding Corp In October 2019, the company was listed on NASDAQ under the ticker FRHC. This listing allowed Freedom Holding to gain immense credibility worldwide and access to international capital.

Since Freedom Holding’s listing on NASDAQ, the company has seen extremely rapid growth with billions invested from retail investors across the world.

Freedom Holding’s Offerings

Turlov’s goal was realized through Freedom Holding. Under his expert leadership, the company has achieved the following:

  • Brokerage & Trading: Created platforms with access to the United States and International Markets.
  • Banking & Insurance: Subsidiaries named Freedom Bank and Freedom Life.
  • Consumer Servicing: Travel Booking, Grocery Delivery, and Ticketing.
  • Telecommunications: Creation of datacenters and subsidiaries like Freedom Telecom.

Turmoil and Challenge

All success stories are full of challenges, which Turlov and Freedom Holding aren’t strangers to. From criticism from retail investors, regulations from the United States, and the difficulty of curating a worldwide market, Freedom Holding managed to break all the roadblocks. Turlov himself even renounced his natural-born Russian citizenship to reduce criticism and shift focus on the company’s footprint in Central Asian markets.

Despite all the trouble, Freedom Holding continues to grow and expand even today at a rapid rate.

What’s Next?

While Timur Turlov’s journey from a small-time investment firm worker to the head of a multinational company is nothing short of remarkable, the company must continue to grow. Currently, Freedom Holding is doubling down on the creation of telecom, infrastructure, and consumer services. The company is, without a doubt, looking to cement itself as both a financial bastion and providing consumer enrichment. While the future of the company isn’t set in stone, it’s something to keep an eye on for future investments and more.

This guide explains simple checks for match amounts, rollover rules, payout speed, plus limits. You also learn ways to track spending goals and set cool-off breaks. S.I. Yachts and Casey Mears Announce Three-Race Partnership

Acrisure continues as a major associate sponsor

TATESVILLE, N.C. (September 18, 2025) – As Casey Mears inches closer to 500 NASCAR Cup Series starts, the Germain family and S.I. Yachts will continue to support his efforts, announcing they will serve as his primary sponsor at the final three races of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. First displayed at Daytona in August, the S.I. Yachts livery will appear on Garage 66’s Ford Mustang Dark Horse at Talladega Superspeedway on October 19, Martinsville Speedway on October 26, and the season finale at Phoenix Raceway on November 2.

Global fintech insurance leader Acrisure will continue as a major associate sponsor. The Acrisure branding will be prominently featured on Mears’ No. 66 S.I. Yachts Ford Mustang.

Owned by Germain Motor Company, S.I. Yachts is one of the world’s oldest and largest dealers for Viking Yachts and Valhalla Boatworks. It is dedicated to helping Mears achieve a feat only 47 other drivers in NASCAR history have accomplished: making 500 NASCAR Cup Series starts. The Bakersfield, CA, native is currently just nine starts shy of the milestone.

Mears’ former boss at Germain Racing is excited to share these special moments with his driver. From 2010 to 2016, Bob Germain and Casey Mears strolled the starting grid together, with the latter piloting the No. 13 Germain Racing NASCAR Cup Series entry. These days, Germain is excited to partner with and support his close friend as he pursues this prestigious achievement.

“We achieved significant success in NASCAR with two Truck Series Championships, and Casey played a key role in the development of our Cup Series program,” Germain said. “I’m proud that the years he spent driving our No. 13 car accounted for many of his Cup starts, and I’m happy we’re partnering in his pursuit of hitting 500. Casey and I have remained close over the years, and he was always one of our biggest supporters. He’s a great guy, and he’s always been genuine in how he lives his life, which is what I appreciate most.”

Acrisure’s auto-finance & insurance division offers vehicle protection programs, dealership insurance, and KARR security systems to approximately 3,000+ automotive dealership partners nationwide.

Vernon Leake, CEO of Acrisure Protection Group, said, “We look forward to supporting Casey’s success in these competitive races as he demonstrates our shared values and standards towards excellence and high performance.”

Mears remains appreciative of his former boss’s support and is excited that Acrisure is continuing its partnership.

“I’m excited we were able to put these three races together, and I appreciate the ongoing support from Bob Germain, S.I. Yachts, and Acrisure,” Mears said. “Given our close friendship, it’s touching that Bob is willing to invest in me after all these years; it shows his character and who he is as a person. It also means a lot that Acrisure continues to support us; they stepped up first this year at Martinsville and helped get this program started. Thanks to Carl Long and Garage 66 for all of their hard work because they’ve worked hard to ramp up and make it happen.”

Garage 66 team owner, Carl Long, a fixture in the sport for nearly three decades, is excited to continue fielding a car for Mears.

“This has been a great opportunity for Garage 66, and it’s been an honor to have Casey in our car and to work with S.I. Yachts and Acrisure,” Long said. “Casey is a top-tier driver who brings attention to detail and focus to everything he does, from the preparation of the pit equipment to the way the interior is adjusted. We appreciate S.I. Yachts and Acrisure’s trust in our team, and we’re committed to finishing the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season strong.”
