The 25-year-old Lundgaard from Hedensted, Denmark, replaces Scott Dixon and will drive Chip Ganassi Racing's No. 9 PNC Bank Honda in 2027 following a two-year campaign at Arrow McLaren.
The 2020 Formula 2 champion and former Formula 1 competitor will pilot the No. 66 ENVE Composites Dallara-Honda entry for Meyer Shank Racing for his sophomore IndyCar campaign in 2027.
