Kenseth on racing at Daytona International Speedway:

“The Daytona 500 is our biggest race of the year, so when you can win that race, it is one of the wins you always want to collect. Of course you want to win every week, but if you had to pick one race, this would be one of them. It was great to win it back in 2009, and I’d really like to win it again. It’s encouraging that all of the Fords have been really fast so far, and it seems like our stuff has been running good this past week. I thought Saturday night for the Shootout that the cars had good speed. As fast as all the Fords were on Sunday, I was hoping we could maybe sneak in one of those spots. We just didn’t have the speed those guys had for qualifying, but we’ll work on set-ups this week in order to race our Best Buy Ford into a better starting position for Sunday’s Daytona 500.”

Crew chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at Daytona International Speedway:

“We came back and looked over our notes from last week and the Shootout in order to see what we feel we can improve upon for the Daytona 500 practices this week. We saw that pack racing is back, and everyone wants to win the 500, so it’s all about racing hard but having some drafting help to make it to the finish on Sunday. The car we’re bringing was last run at Talladega in October, and is the same car we finished second with at Daytona last July.”
