Kyle Busch Foundation Slot Tournament for charity kicks off race weekend on March 8
LAS VEGAS – Feb 22, 2012 – Riviera Hotel & Casino is hosting a series of events as part of NASCAR® March Race Weekend, March 8–11, 2012. The weekend officially begins on Thursday, March 8, with a slot tournament benefiting the Kyle Busch Foundation. A group of NASCAR® drivers will be signing autographs for fans on Friday, March 9, including Las Vegas native Kurt Busch. NASCAR® fans can also get an up close and personal look at Casey Mears’ # 13 GEICO Sprint Cup Race Car, which will be on display on the casino floor during race weekend.
The Kyle Busch Foundation Slot Tournament begins at 4:30 p.m. on March 8 and guests who earn their way into the finals will face off with Kyle Busch. The top three point earners will receive cash prizes, an autographed die-cast car, a special trophy, and get their photo taken with Kyle and his wife, Samantha. Entry into the Slot Tournament is only $118 or $99 for Kyle Busch Fan Club Members. Half of the proceeds benefit the Kyle Busch Foundation and the other half goes into the prize pool. On Friday night, March 9, 2012, a group of NASCAR® drivers will be signing autographs for the fans beginning at 8:00 p.m. There will also be a special appearance by one of the top artists in NASCAR® Sam Bass. Sprint Cup and Nationwide drivers scheduled to appear include Las Vegas native Kurt Busch, David Reutimann, Dave Blaney, Kenny Schrader, Robert Richardson, Jr., Scott Riggs, and Eric McClure.*
