Timothy Peters
No. 17 Red Horse Racing
Toyota Tundra

This Week’s Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra at Texas Motor Speedway… Timothy Peters will be competing in chassis No. 018 in the WinStar World Casino & Resort 350 at Texas Motor Speedway. This is the same Toyota Tundra that he drove to a fourth-place finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in September.

Peters’ History at Texas Motor Speedway… Timothy Peters has 13 starts at Texas Motor Speedway where he’s earned two top-10 finishes. His best result at the Fort Worth, Texas race track was a seventh-place finish in 2010, while his best start was second in 2012 while driving for Red Horse Racing.

Race Rewind: Martinsville Speedway… Timothy Peters arrived to his “home” track of Martinsville Speedway with strong momentum after earning his first win of the season the weekend before at Talladega Superspeedway. Peters earned a second-place finish in the Kroger 200, the No. 17 Red Horse Racing team’s seventh top-five finish and 11th top-10 of 2014.

TIMOTHY PETERS QUOTES:

On Racing at Texas Motor Speedway… “Texas (Motor Speedway) is a track that I haven’t had great results at. Heading there this week is motivation to improve that results column, and I think we can do that with the momentum that we’re carrying from the past few races. We’ve been working hard as a team and things seem to be clicking.”

On The No. 17 Team’s Momentum… “I think our season really turned around at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We earned a solid fourth-place finish there and followed that up with a win at Talladega (Superspeedway) and second-place finish at Martinsville (Speedway). We’re carrying some strong momentum into these last three races of the season, and are prepared to finish strong.”

Germán Quiroga
No. 77 OtterBox
Toyota Tundra

This Week’s OtterBox Toyota Tundra at Texas Motor Speedway… Germán Quiroga will be competing in chassis No. 017 in the WinStar World Casino & Resort 350 at Texas Motor Speedway. This is the same Toyota Tundra that he earned a fourth-place qualifying effort with at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Quiroga at Texas Motor Speedway… Germán Quiroga has four NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at Texas Motor Speedway. The Mexico City native earned his first career top-three finish at the Fort Worth, Texas race track in June 2013 where he finished third after starting from the eighth position.

Race Rewind: Martinsville Speedway… Germán Quiroga ran an impressive race at Martinsville Speedway. After earning an eighth-place starting spot for the Kroger 200 the team was forced to start from the rear of the field after changing tires after qualifying. Quiroga battled his way to the front of the field and after an unsuccessful attempt to take the lead with 12 laps remaining, he fought his way back to earn a 10th-place finish.

GERMÁN QUIROGA QUOTES:

On Racing at Texas Motor Speedway… “I’m really excited to race at Texas (Motor Speedway). It’s a special track for me because it’s the place I earned my first top-three finish. We’ve had really fast trucks there and we’ll be racing with a new set-up this weekend so I think we can earn a good finish.”

On an Exciting Race at Martinsville Speedway… “I knew we had a fast Toyota Tundra last weekend and when I got to the front I knew I had to take a chance and make a move for the lead. Unfortunately, the move didn’t play out in our favor but we bounced back to score a top-10 finish. I’m so proud of my entire team for their effort.”
