CHASTAIN SCORES 15th AT RICHMOND

RICHMOND, Va. – Ross Chastain had another solid night in Friday’s Virginia529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway, finishing 15th.

Chastain has finished in the top 20 in six of the past seven Xfinity races.

“Just another good night for our car and our team,” Chastain said. “We ran well all night, and I was able to race some of the guys at the front. The Flex Seal Chevy was top-notch.”

Chastain qualified 19th, finished on the lead lap and led four laps during a round of pit stops.

He stayed 13th in Xfinity points.

Chase Elliott won the race, and Chris Buescher stayed in the point lead.

Chicagoland Speedway hosts the next Xfinity race Sept. 19.
