This Week’s Jewel-Osco/Kraft Velveeta Chevrolet SS at Chicagoland Speedway … Brian Scott is scheduled to pilot chassis No. 503 in Sunday’s MYAFIBRISK.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway. This Chevrolet SS is a new chassis to the No. 33 fleet and will make its debut during Friday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series practice.

Windy City Statistics … Scott will be making his first Sprint Cup Series start at Chicagoland Speedway this weekend and 15th Series start. In 10 NASCAR XFINITY Series starts at the 1.5-mile paved speedway, Scott has an average starting position of 11.8 and an average finish of 9.2. Scott has earned three pole positions, including back-to-back poles in both visits to the track last season. In addition, Scott has two top-five and six top-10 finishes with 31 laps led and 2003 of 2004 laps completed. In addition to his XFINITY Series starts, Scott has one NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start at Chicagoland.

Race Rewind … In his seventh Sprint Cup Series start in the No. 33 Shore Lodge Chevrolet this season, Scott finished 22nd at Richmond International Raceway after starting 17th and battling in and around the top-20 for the 400-lap event.
