Toledo Race Entitlement part of comprehensive program…

TOLEDO, Ohio (March 9, 2016) – Officials from the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and Menards Inc. announced today that the Wisconsin-based home improvement retailer will again serve as the presenting sponsor of the ARCA Racing Series, marking the eighth consecutive year that Menards has been the presenter for ARCA’s national tour, in its 64th consecutive season. In addition, Menards will return as the title sponsor of the Menards 200 event at Toledo Speedway.

“We are very privileged to have the opportunity to continue our relationship with Menards,” commented Mark Gundrum, Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Partnerships for ARCA. “The ability to work with a major retailer has provided numerous product suppliers with distribution opportunities and an effective way to market their products’ availability at Menards.”

In addition to the Series sponsorship and Toledo event entitlement, Menards will also continue its broader marketing presence within the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, including co-sponsoring the Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell, and its co-primary sponsorship on the No. 52 Ken Schrader Racing ARCA team, and driver Matt Kurzejewski.

The Menards 200, set for May 22, will feature ARCA Racing Series practice and Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell on Saturday, May 21, along with an ARCA Truck Series and ARCA Aramark Sportsman Division race. Sunday’s activities will kick off with an on-track autograph session at 12 noon, and the Menards 200 will start at approximately at 2:00 p.m.
