PREECE DEBUTS AT TEXAS

FORT WORTH, Texas – It’s another round of introductions for Ryan Preece this weekend as the rookie will make his first career run at Texas Motor Speedway.

Preece will drive the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 01 Chevrolet sponsored by G&K Services in Friday night’s O’Reilly Auto Parts 300.

“Texas is one of those tracks I’ve heard a lot about,” Preece said. “Everybody says it’s one of the fastest and most fun to drive. I like the high-speed tracks. We’ll see how quickly we can get adapted to it.”

Preece has moved up to 17th in Xfinity driver points five races into the season. He has a top race finish of 18th.

Texas practice is scheduled at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. (ET) Thursday. Qualifying is set for 4:45 p.m. Friday, with the race to follow at 7:30 p.m.
