ADVANCE NOTES

Wallace at Bristol
Wallace will make his third career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Bristol Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.

Wallace finished in the 12th position in both of his previous starts at the .533-Mile oval.

In two starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at the famed short track, Wallace recorded a best finish of second in Aug. 2014.

Recapping Texas
Wallace finished in the 15th position on Friday evening at Texas Motor Speedway, after battling a tight-handling condition for much of the night.

Seth Barbour at Bristol
Barbour will call his seventh NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Bristol. In six previous starts, Barbour recorded a best finish of seventh with defending NASCAR XFINITY Series Champion Chris Buescher in this event in 2013.

Dash 4 Cash
This weekend at Bristol marks the first NASCAR XFINITY Series Dash 4 Cash event of the 2016 season. In a twist from past years, this season the race will be broken up into two 50-Lap heat races followed by a 200-Lap main event.

The top two NASCAR XFINITY Series regulars from each heat race will be eligible for the $100,000 prize in the 200-Lap main event.

QUOTE WORTHY

Wallace on racing at Bristol:
“I’m really looking forward to racing at Bristol this weekend. I love this place. It’s a fast, exciting track. Plus, we’ve got the addition of heat races and the XFINITY Dash 4 Cash. It will be an interesting race for sure and I’m confident that (Crew chief) Seth (Barbour) will give me a solid Ford EcoBoost Mustang this weekend.”
