JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion – Qualified 6th
“We just got a little bit snug the last lap in the last round there. I am not sure we could have gone as fast as the 48 did anyway but I feel like we gave up a least a half a tenth down in one and two. Maybe a little more. Maybe a full tenth. That wouldn’t have been enough for the pole anyway but it would have gotten us a little closer. Overall, I thought today was a good day. Our practice went really well, our car is really good in race trim and we made some good improvements from practice to qualifying as well. I am proud of the progress.”

RYAN BLANEY, No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion – Qualified 14th
“We got better after every run. We just weren’t very close that first run to get a good base for the next one. That is unfortunate but the guys did a good job getting us better and better. We picked up time every time we went out, which is nice, but it wasn’t enough unfortunately. We will go to work on race trim tomorrow.”

RICKY STENHOUSE JR., No. 17 Fastenal Ford Fusion – Qualified 22nd
“It is never what you are hoping for when you don’t make it to the third round. We struggled a lot today with some issues with our Fastenal Ford. We definitely got it better throughout practice and we actually got it better in qualifying there. We ran our fastest lap of qualifying the third time out. That is okay for us. Just a lot of work to do and we will change a lot tonight to try to get it a little better for tomorrow.”
