PREECE RIDES MOMENTUM INTO RIR

RICHMOND, Va. – Ryan Preece is on a roll, and he hopes to continue the good times Friday at Richmond International Raceway.

Preece will drive the JD Motorsports with Gary Keller No. 01 Chevrolet in Friday’s Virginia529 College Savings 250 at RIR.

In the past three Xfinity Series races, Preece has finished 15th, 11th and 10th, improving his best-of-the-season result each time.

“We’re looking to keep the momentum going at Richmond,” Preece said. “These past few weeks have been great. The guys have given me great cars, and it’s worked out so that we have made good on-track gains every week. Looking forward to more this weekend.”

Preece, who finished 23rd in the spring race at RIR, is 17th in Xfinity points entering Friday’s event.

Practice is scheduled at 8 a.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 4:15 p.m., with the race to follow at 7:30.
