CHASTAIN SET FOR DOVER

DOVER, Del. – Ross Chastain’s 20th-place finish in the May Xfinity race at Dover International Speedway left him wanting more from the track known as the Monster Mile.

Chastain will be driving the Use Your Melon/Don’t Drink and Drive Chevrolet in Saturday’s Drive Sober 200 at Dover.

“I’ve put in a lot of laps around Dover in the last few years,” said Chastain, who will be racing for the sixth time at the one-mile track. “I feel like I know the track really well, and I know we’ll have a car that can get us into the top 15. I’m looking forward to challenging the track again.”

Chastain’s sponsorship for the weekend is part of the Delaware Office of Highway Safety’s safe-driving campaign.

The race is the second in the new Xfinity Chase playoffs.

Dover practice sessions are scheduled at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 11:45 a.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 3 p.m.
