PREECE ROLLS INTO HOMESTEAD

HOMESTEAD, Fla. –The Xfinity Series season will end with Saturday’s Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway, and Ryan Preece will be in the field in the Mizzy Construction Chevrolet.

The race will mark the end of Preece’s rookie season in Xfinity. He enters the race 17th in driver points, having scored 13 top-20 finishes, including a top run of 10th at Darlington Raceway.

“We’re ready to have a good run at Homestead and put an exclamation point on the season,” Preece said. “We’ve had some good cars and strong runs this year at a variety of tracks. It’s been a great year.”

Preece has raced twice at the 1.5-mile track, once in Sprint Cup and once in Xfinity.

The Xfinity Series champion will be determined in Saturday’s race.

Practice is scheduled at 2 and 5 p.m. (ET) Friday, with qualifying set for 11:15 a.m. Saturday. The race will get the green flag at 3:30 p.m.
