Carl Edwards on racing at Watkins Glen:
“I feel pretty good about Watkins Glen. We sat on the pole there a few years ago and had some good runs and almost won the race one year. We were running second and I ran off the second to last corner trying real hard. We have run really well there and I like that race track. To me it is the road course that suits my style more than any other I have been on. It is a really fun race.”
Crew Chief Chad Norris on racing at Watkins Glen:
“I am looking forward to racing at The Glen this weekend. Carl has really become a good road racer and the extra track time he will gain running the Nationwide car this weekend will certainly help. The key to a good race there is keeping your track position and having a good pit strategy. Qualifying well will be important so we can start up front and stay there.”
