Pocono Raceway will host over 60 events and activities, taking place both on and off the track, for fans attending the Gander RV 400 race weekend from July 26-28. The major races each day will include the FORTS USA 150 ARCA Menards Series (AMS) race on Friday, the Gander RV 150 NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series (NGOTS) race on Saturday and the Gander RV 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race on Sunday.
The nickname for Pocono Raceway is a cute and fitting slogan. And it might win the “overly obvious award” because the speedway’s triangular layout is indeed tricky for drivers and teams alike.

I was really questionable about how that was gonna go and the thing took right off. The only thing that wasn’t good was we got the traffic and my car started pushing. I knew that he was gonna take a shot. I would have taken a shot. I stood on the brakes and just tried to keep it straight. I just didn’t want to get him back from the inside and let him have another shot. I wanted to at least be in control of who was gonna have contact in turn three and four. It was a heck of a finish, closer than what we wanted, but it was our only chance. I would have never done it, but that’s why he’s on the box and not me.”
In his final NASCAR Xfinity Series start for 2019, Paul Menard earned a fifth-place finish in the ROXOR 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Menard collected his second top-five finish in 2019 (he placed fourth earlier at Michigan in June) and claimed his second top-five in eight starts at New Hampshire.
