Wallace will make his fourth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Daytona on Saturday afternoon. In three previous starts at the famed superspeedway, Wallace has recorded one top-10 finish, a seventh in the July 2014 event.
“I feel like I want to run well and we need to run well. It all goes to preparation and I’m working with the team and the team is preparing, and things like that. So I don’t feel any pressure, but I have to run well if I want to stay in the 5 car for a long time.
I just think when you look at how many cars were taken out of the race, we would have a much better race if the grass wasn't there. I didn't hit anything. All I did was go through the grass, got the nose ripped off. I know there were many other cars that went through the same thing.
