RCR Nationwide Series Homestad-Miami Speedway Post Race Report

Brian Scott qualified seventh for the Homestead-Miami 300 and was the highest qualifying Richard Childress Racing entry at Homestead-Miami Speedway. RCR teammates Ty Dillon, Brian Scott, Paul Menard and Brendan Gaughan finished seventh, 10th, 12th and 29th. In the final NASCAR Nationwide Series driver point standings, Brian Scott led the RCR drivers finishing in fourth while Ty Dillon was fifth and Brendan Gaughan eighth.

Reed Finishes 27th in Homestead

Ryan Reed, driver of the No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop DiabetesSM presented by Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang was running solidly inside the top-10 with just a handful of laps remaining in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The closing laps proved to be chaotic with several cautions and a green-white-checker finish. Contact with another competitor ultimately led to a flat tire, leaving the team with a 27th-place finish.
