Elliott Sadler makes his seventh NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) start at Talladega Superspeedway this weekend in Talladega, AL. Sadler won this race last year and is looking to defend his victory on Saturday afternoon.

“I’m looking forward to Talladega after seeing the speed our cars had at Daytona earlier this season. We need a win to make the Chase and I think that Talladega is great opportunity for us to be able to get that win.

“Our (restrictor) plate program has really been our strong suit over the last few years on this FedEx team. I have learned some things over the last few plate races that have helped, and we have had really good cars in the draft.

Talladega Superspeedway is all about the fan experience, making sure that when families come onto the property, they get the best of everything – the greatest racing on the planet with limitless amenities to make their visit a fun and memorable one.

"I'm excited to back in the C&J Energy Services Ford Fusion this weekend. Once we got into the race at Daytona the car was very competitive, at least the new qualifying format will be different for restrictor plate races.

After falling just outside the Top-10 in points, Aric Almirola and the No. 43 Ford team hope to dodge trouble and score a good finish at Talladega Superspeedway to propel them back into the Top-10.

This weekend, Sam Hornish Jr. and the No. 9 Medallion Bank Ford team return to a superspeedway for the first time since the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway. So far, Hornish earned his best finish of the season, 12th, in Daytona earlier this year.

HScott Motorsports is pleased to announce that Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) will be the primary sponsor of the No. 51 Chevrolet SS driven by Justin Allgaier in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) at Kansas Speedway in May. When NASCAR announced changes to the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup format for the 2014 season, taking the checkered flag in one of the first 26 races all but guaranteed a birth in the 10-race playoff. Denny Hamlin, who hopes to defend his GEICO 500 title at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday, May 3, can attest to the high importance of a victory in order to have a shot at the season-ending title.
