KEVIN HARVICK, NO. 4 JIMMY JOHN’S/BUDWEISER CHEVROLET SS – RACE WINNER “The restarts were just really slippery and I learned that in the race yesterday. You had to really maintain your entrance speed and really slide the thing through the center of the corner to try to help keep it pointed up off. But I just want to thank the fans. This is a really special place of all these West Coast race for us to win. I want to thank everybody who helps us on this car and everybody at SHR for uh, man. These things are incredible and really fun to drive.”

Carl Edwards (13th) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Phoenix International Raceway, an event won by Kevin Harvick.

JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Fusion (Finished 8th) – “That is not quite where we wanted to be there at the end. Todd made a gutsy call there at the end to put four on it and we were back to 16th there with 12 to go and really at that point he was leaving it up to me to be aggressive and we were able to pass a lot of cars to get up to 8th."

On hand at the Motorama Custom Car and Motorsports Show, Jeff Gordon's step-father John Bickford was greeting show attendees as they checked out Gordon's No. 3M Chevrolet and discussed details surrounding the Canadian Motor Speedway project. Though one of the questions beyond the speedway's progress was with regards to Gordon's announcement at the beginning of this season.
