My shifter had broken; and I couldn’t find my shifter and just got confused on pit road and missed my pit box and then sped leaving; so we got down a lap."

This marks the first time Ford has swept all of NASCAR’s top three touring divisions in the same weekend since last August at Bristol Motor Speedway.

A total of 23 Team Chevy drivers will start the Daytona 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Daytona International Speedway. The 200-lap event is scheduled to begin at 1:30 pm ET and will air live on FOX, MRN Radio, Sirius NASCAR Radio Channel 90 and NASCAR.com.

This evening, the National Motorsports Final Appeals Officer, Mr. Bryan Moss, heard and considered the appeal of driver Kurt Busch.

Kurt Busch’s latest attempt to overturn his suspension by NASCAR was denied Saturday evening. His appeal was heard by Bryan Moss, the National Motorsports Finals Appeals officer. Moss’s decision is final and cannot be appealed within NASCAR.

Following a crash during the Alert Today Florida 300, Kyle Busch will miss the Daytona 500. The crash saw Busch hit a wall that was not protected by a SAFER barrier.

Kyle Busch, driver of the No. 54 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR), sustained a compound fracture of the right lower leg in an accident during Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Additionally, Busch suffered a mid-foot fracture of his left foot in the accident.

Following a wreck during the NASCAR XFINITY race at Daytona International Speedway, Kyle Busch will miss the Daytona 500.
