It's definitely a different atmosphere than what we're used to, and there's so much history at that place, but for us it's a big track that offers another opportunity for a good finish. Our speedway program has improved so much this year and that's showing in our results. We need to take advantage of what Indy offers, because it certainly plays to one of our strengths."

No. 55 Aaron’s Dream Machine driver Brian Vickers visits one of racing’s most historic venues this weekend when the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series travels to Indianapolis Motor Speedway for Sunday’s 400-mile race.

Biffle qualified 27th and the team battled handling all weekend. Long green flag runs didn’t allow many opportunities for adjustments and the caution never fell while Biffle was in position for the lucky dog, resulting in a 24th-place finish.

Stenhouse has one Sprint Cup start at the historical track, earning a 25th- place finish last year.

Learning the true meaning of Indy: “At one point, I lost a little bit of what Indy (Indianapolis Motor Speedway) was all about, but later I realized what it truly meant and how lucky I am to be able to race there,” Allmendinger said.

Roush Fenway Racing Cup drivers Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards spent Monday and Tuesday using one of their NASCAR allotted tests at Michigan International Speedway in preparation for both the August MIS race and this weekend’s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. All three took time during the lunch break to discuss the test and the upcoming Indy weekend.
